From a gameplay point of view?

I've been recording missions, but I have no ideas which ones would be good to upload.

The most popular I see on YouTube are Haestrom, SM Tubes, Mordin's LM, and Thane's RM.

Define entertaining. Do you mean "fun" to play, "thrilling", "intense" (for those that like a hard won victory), or something else?
Do you want universally applicable opinions or specific, gameplay. and class/build-based assessments?

Please specify.

Depends on the class, for example some situations that allow the Vanguard to do some amazing stuff can cause other classes to be pinned down.

One of my favorites is Grunt's RM, especially if you use shotguns.

The early missions are somewhat overlooked because the classes miss on a lot of things and aren't fully ripe yet; and NG+ is, well, just stupid.

As for uploading though, which one has the most style?

Fun to watch/play. Just curious on what missions people find entertaining. However it can be for any reason, really.

For example,
I enjoy Thane's RM -- variety of things you are fighting versus and it is moderately difficult.
I dislike SM Tubes -- warp bombs galore and not that hard.

I record mostly on my Adept or Vanguard.

- LotSB - many fun fights there
- Reaper IFF
- Last fight on Horizon
- Collector ship
- Suicide mission (not the last part though, I find it a bit mindnumbing)
- Haestrom
- Some Overlord fights
- Arrival fight for your life thing

There are a lot of other fights I like, but these were the ones I thought of first.

Horizon and collector ship trap are hardest/ interesting. Lotsb was most interesting after those. There are plenty of vids of those, however. If you had a creative solution to a mission the video would be interesting to forum fans.

Difficult question. Most ME2 levels are reasonably well designed; and sometimes you need a different approach to have more and better fun - except Thane and Samara's loyalty missions (which have no combat) I enjoy playing every mission equally.

If I have to name a favorite it would be the part you're fighting on top of the Shadow Broker vessel; beautiful vista, interactive environment, a couple places you'll get flanked and a versatile and flexible number of enemy types.

If you're going to make a video, why not make a compilation of the coolest fights?

My personal favourites would have to be: Thane's recruitment, Tali's recruitment, Reaper IFF, Kasumi's loyalty, Mordin's loyalty, Shadowbroker's ship exterior and the battle for Object Rho in Arrival.

First I hated the Derelict Reaper Husk mission (soo many Husks and Scions), but after I finally punched my fear for their (now gone) AoE attack from ME1, I find it hilariously funny dancing around them, popping groins here and there. I still don't like the double Scion part though, that really is challenging.

Though Andraste my have mercy on my controls when I get back to ME1 and "unmastered" my Husk Control tactics thoughout ME2 for that horrifying Husk AoE attack ...

Also, Mordin's LM, just for Garrus' comment on locations fun to fight through. That little gem makes the whole mission worthy playing.

I agree with that. Choose a set of missions that help to show off your class build and gameplay strategy.

My personal favourites are probably Korlus, Archangel's recruitment, Overlord - prometheus station and Samara's recruitment.

my personal favorite from the whole series, believe it or not is a assignment. the listening post (from Mass Effect 1) where you held LT Duran hold off the rachni who swarm from all over. this mission becomes available after you finish noveria and encounter the rachni for the first time. i believe it was in the 'styx theta' cluster. but it was just a very entertaining fight in my opinion, non stop waves of rachni. then if you are feeling up to it, Duran gives you the coordinates for the main rachni hive. where you cant flush the rest out, and kill the male warriors (big ones).

other than that, i LOVED thanes RM, storming thru that huge building on my way to nassana. meanwhile she is venting over loudspeaker about how her guards suck, lol. also the poor salarians who get ambushed in that building always make me sad :(

Noveria for me, primarily the Port Hanshan part. You are given so much freedom to choose how to proceed and there are lots of opportunities to earn Paragon/Renegade points and use Charm/Intimidate.

Haestrom: good music and a lot of geth.

Reaper IFF: Not bad, husks are fun.

I personally find LotSB's missions the most fun overall.

The hardest I find is Arrival, from Object Rho onwards.

I'm not that good at editing yet. I've only officially produced two videos. One without music, and one to try out adding music :-). I got like 200gb of footage though I'm sitting on, and need to do something with.

Also thanks everyone for the suggestions/insight on the missions.

LotSB was the most fun/thrilling. My least favorite were those fights during Arrival in which the enemies respawn constantly. They were cheap as hell, they just keep coming and spraying at you from all sides. It was also uncomfortably reminiscent of DA2, what with the enemies jumping down from ledges. I coulda sworn they had the same animations.

The firefights on Illium during LotSB were my favorite, espeially in the Dracon Trade Center. The music and the setting are perfection. Something about fighting in a recently-bombed building with the sprinklers going off and flames and flashbangs just makes it amazing. Add in Soldier slo-mo, Vanguard Charge, or Infiltrator sniper-slowdown and it's the best part of the whole game IMHO. And I always have a maniacal grin when doing the skycar chase.

Editing isn't that hard with the right software. Check the Mass Effect Movie Makers group for tips & tricks:

I love the "brawler" at the end of the Derelict Reaper. Run around, no cover, against swarms of husks. I hope we get more stuff like that in ME3.

LOTSB, nothing kicks ass like a biotic fight between Tela Vasir and Shep.

The suicide missions because i like all the cut scenes and the way your squad react with each other; more of squad interacting with each other in ME3 please BioWare

Yeah, I too enjoyed the consequences and the like on the suicide mission. It would be cool if there would be more missions like this in ME3 - Shep still has two squadies at his/her side, but giving orders to your other squadmates or allies - with their failure and success playing an vital part in Shep's endavours - would be great!

Anyone have any favourite N7 assignments? I really like the Husk Cave and the first Blue Suns one, the former mission is cool when you have max level biotics.
