Now before someone tries to flame me, this is not about customizing equipment. What if squadmates were customizable in appearance just as Shepard is?
I was thinking, when first meeting a squadmate, they could be in completely covering attire, such as armor+helmet, cloak with hood, etc. Then when they introduce themselves, what if we're taken to a creation screen where we could change some features about them such as skin tone, facial structures, etc. I mean, if the developers can incorporate all the different variations of Shepard in cutscenes as well as squaddies with different attire, would it be that hard to incorporate?
I know this is the 3rd installment of the series, so this would be an awkward thing to do with preexisting characters that we've all grown to know and love (or hate). But if we could do it with new squaddies? Anyone like this idea?

Well I don't think we should be able to edit their face (especially since those faces aren't done in the creator) But I'd be in favor of being able to edit their armor much like Shep in ME2.

Nope! Why do you want this if you don't mind me asking?

I'm okay with switching outfits for squaddies, but that's it. They were other people before I met them. I don't need to control all of their potential outcomes.

I don't really want it, nor do I not want it. I thought it would just be a cool addition to the game. I rarely see this in any other games, so I think it'd be cool if ME incorporated it.

I'm ok with an expanding and changing wardrobe (what girl isn't?), but I think the face should be left alone.

Absolutely not. This discussion came up multiple times in the DA forum and I don't feel like argumentating against it for the umpteenth time. The answer is no.
