After reading that the 'haters' were a minority group of elitist grognards spewing hardcore pnp diatribe across the net, I decided to look up the professional opinions on Dragon Age II.

Game Rankings (Xbox 360) - 76.91%

Game Rankings (PC) - 78.92%

Game Rankings (PS3) - 80.23%

Game Critics, a review website, branded the game with a 2.5/10.

I call this a critical panning, because this is the lowest ever rated Bioware game ever made. Jade Empire, (89.56%) and NeverWinter Nights (88.96%) are the third and second lowest ratings on the Game Rankings aggregate made by Bioware.

If we look at Metacritic, the score is higher 82 for PS3 and PC, and 79 for Xbox 360. However, if we look at the user score it currently sits at 4.2/10, and 3.9/10 for the PS3 version. I refuse to accept this is a '4Chan Raid' as most user reviews are around the 3-6 mark, and give justified paragraphs about the issues with the game.

So, although anything above a 7 is deemed 'good'. For a company like Bioware who produce GOTY contenders with every release, and are backed by EA, a multi billion dollar company, and have acsess to more rescources than ever before isn't it embarrasing they can get out scored by a 2d indie game like Terraria?

Lastly, I'd like to point out the lack of a single 10/10 review for Dragon Age 2.

I just wish we had an accuracte depiction of sales, as we know, thats all that matters.

If you want to criticize what Bioware or EA has done to the game, so the Constructive Criticism is the most appropriate threads for you guys. You can complain whatever you want in there without annoying everyone else in the forum who would like to take their time and enjoy the game.

Sorry for being so rude, but I see that this is not an appropriate thread to pan the game. You've already have them long time ago, after all.

And we've hit the point where this thread is nothing more than bickering and insults.

So, I'm locking it. Someday, we'll have a thread that hits ten pages without people trying to convince other people that their opinion is wrong and that they should feel bad for holding it.
