Prothean remnant and a Rachni ambassador/noble... However they have their caste sysem. Rachni Noble or Queen as squadmate!

Your thread was a good idea but you knew people would post stupid crap like "I want blasto and I want an elcor".  A batarian would make sense especialy if your shepard is a colonist ruthless background (or war hero background).  Would love to see some of that dialog.

I would wish for an Elcor, Batarian and a Yahg for squadies. And a new race would be very nice.

If Bioware created a new squadmate from an alien species that hasn't been on the squad yet, really the only options are Batarian, Volus or Raloi, or some other species that hasn't been mentioned yet.

An Elcor would be too overpowered as a squadmate, since the lore basically makes them walking tanks. They go into battle with cannons on their backs. Their manner of speech also makes them impractical as a squadmate, since out of mission coversations would eventually become tedious. That being said, an Elcor backing your team up on one mission as a temporary companion, complete back-strapped-cannon would be EPIC!

There is also no chance that a Hanar would ever be on the squad. Like the Elcor, their manner of speech would eventually become tedious if they were on your squad full time.

The Vorcha are incapable of intelligent conversation. No chance whatsoever that they'll ever be on the squad

The Yahg would also be way overpowered as a squadmate. Plus, their lore makes them impractical. They don't get along well with other species. The only way a Yahg would join the team was if everyone on the team, including Shepard, submitted to him and acknowledged him as their master.

The Rachni also aren't good candiates for a squadmate. Shep wouldn't be able to commuicate with them.

A Batarian, its the only one race that hasn't had a squadmate. Saying that each and every one of them is racist is not an excuse, I seriously doubt that claim.

I will not tolerate Batarians. I will get him/her killed at every turn in the game. I do NOT want a Batarian squadmate. BRING BACK GRUNT!

Face it. Shep teaming up with a Batarian...any Batarian at this point seems counter to the whole soviet style boogeyman they have made them out to be.

Bioware has said there will be new aliens in ME3. Assuming they are physically capable, I would like to see one of them featured as a squad mate. Or maybe a female Drell.

OMG I WANT A REAPER SQUAD MATE. Would you have issue with that? Because aside from the Reapers, Batarians are the foremost enemy of the Alliance.

Kids on these forums really need to learn the meaning of butt hurt.

Butt hurt is where someone doesn't know how to take a joke and they take the joke as if they just took it up the butt.
Unless of course you were joking and are not stupidly racist to the whole batarian species.
