What is the atcuall purpose of this Robotic Dog?

I would really like to see the Robotic Dog be giving
the ability to fight along side with you on your quest
to defeat the reapers other than it sitting in the Normandy
following me around doing nothing at all..

What are your thoughts on this and would you like
the Robot Dog as a automatic Teammate that you
can Toggle on or off while fighting along side your
other 2 teammates that you select from?

If I read the CE page correctly, it just lives on your ship... not doing anything but being robotic and cute.

It's just an extra feature that is a pet on the Normandy. I don't really think it has any extra features or anything yet. If I had to guess it's probably going to be no different than that one Varren on Tuchanka that follow you around if you feet it a Pyjak.

Yea I remember that one, you could farm credits with that Blood Hound, everytime you won
credits you could save your game and then if the Blood Hound got killed you could just
reload your save and keep doing it till you had enough credits lmao

It will sit against a wall doing calibrations. It will not walk. It will not engage with other members of crew. It will have a room to itself, that is only accessible when you download the DLC.

Or..it could be something entirely different and run around the ship, interacting with people and cue scenes of the VI running after it because it knocked over their prized thousand year glass vase or something...

I still can't quite grasp the reasoning behind the Fenris pet. Don't get me wrong. Extra content is extra content but I would have loved for an Ipod interface to use with the stereo in my quarters. Play my own music when relaxing or romancing. lol Urz would've been better. Unless that Fenris mech has hover capabilities with a finite supply of thermal clips in its back acting like an in game emergency supply then I just don't get it. Reminds me of the "Cute Nug" from DA:O. But I can't complain. Small price to pay for CE reserves.

Shep got so annoyed at Garrus never having time to talk that they invested in a mech dog that could do the processing for him. In which case, I think its the best idea EVER!:D

I've already suggested the Oculus/343-hybrid as a better alternative in another thread. If you can't use the FENRIS mech in combat, then it's useless. If you can use the FENRIS mech in combat, then it's substituting the combat drone of the Engineer.

Make Legion into a robot dog ^^

Shepard: "Why do you have a piece of N7 armor strapped to your butt?"
LegionDog: "There was a hole.."

It's there to follow you around the Normandy and make every romantic opportunity awkward.

If it's a FENRIS mech, then, well... I always thought they were kinda ugly. However, if it can manage to pull off the same charm as DA's mabari hound, I can live with it.
