I didn't post that to suggest I didn't like GOA, only that my earlier post of hoping a convention demo would imply a larger scale DLC is not necessarily accurate. Based on this example, the DLC we see at Comic Con this year could be a standard 1-2 hour, 10$ DLC.

I can't recall any Bioware DLC besides shale that cost more than seven dollars.scyphozoa wrote...

Wasn't LotSB an 800-point ($10) DLC? Also, Awakening has a DLC price, I think (can you buy it in points?).Atakuma wrote...

But yeah, he should have said the standard $7 1-2 hour DLC.
Thing is, they'll probably charge more because they took the extra effort to more cleverly disguise reuse of the existing area art (ZING!). So we're actually the ones who end up paying the real price for criticism of the game in the end. :-)

Seriously, DA:O for the PC went gold in Feb 2009, but was delayed to allow simultaenous release with the console versions.ishmaeltheforsaken wrote...
Seriously guise, Awakening was released less than four months after Origins. This "DLC" better be huge.
So... DA:A had another seven months of development time, (a total of 11 months after the basic game was locked) before the players got their hands on "EP1".
(Just reminding folk who didn't know about the "real" timeline...

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.
At least we have some sort of timeline now, rather than the nebulous future. I'll look forward to the reviews and discussion on the forums! Or wait... perhaps I'll have to avoid for spoilers. I'll have to think about that.

So yeah. When it sucks (and it will), the hate is coming back to the forums. And it's bringing all its friends with it this time.
Well, aren't you just Debbie Downer?
