Sounds good. I'm getting all excited now. Hmm, maybe I have time to buy DA2 and finish it before July. Yeah, better start buying it soon.

I'll give it a chance, but if there is a single recycled area either from the main game or pawned of as different areas within the DLC, I'm walking away from Dragon Age for good, including uninstalling the game and chucking the disk in the bin.
Not that anyone should care, BioWare sure won't.

Why is it that every time Bioware is doing something awesome I am busy with either University, Work, or Family.

I swear there is a secret plot against me or something. :?

Hopefully there will be more substance to the DLC than that.

If the dlc is just another 30-45 minute quest, then I'm going to just uninstall DA2 for good.

Even if it's fantastic and 2 hours long, I wouldn't hold out much hope of a DLC saving a game people don't like in the first place. DA2's answer to "Hordes of the Underdark," maybe, but not a DLC.

Still, it will be interesting to see what they come up with.

I think most people who "dislike" DA2 (including me) actually really love it but are very upset and disappointed in the way BioWare made a mess of it.
It CAN be fixed, I won't believe otherwise.
BioWare can make a massive patch to sort out all the main concerns and provide an excellent DLC to give the game more meat.
They CAN do all this stuff, but will they? That remains to be seen. If not, then I'm done.

DA2 is supposed to be a AAA game, but it's not.

I hope it's not another $40.00 expansion. I would have to think twice about that!

BioWare, this DLC better be as BIG as Awakening, have a toolset, totally remake the first game, and let me ride on the back of a gryphon that shoots lightning balls out its mouth or I will NEVER BUY A BIOWARE GAME AGAIN!

Signed,
Your one true fan

I love you.

July 21 is my 21st birthday. I probably won't remember the DLC announcement.

I like where your mind is at.  May I suggest Deschute's Brewery as the official supplier for your 21st birthday bash?

Well I hope you're right for you and for all the other people who didn't enjoy DA2, but don't have to high expectations about it or you will set yourself up for dissapointment. Remember Feb 1.? A lot of people (me included) were dissapointed when well ... nothing happened. Was all about expectations and wanting something that wasnt even there to begin with...

Fingers crossed that wont happen:)

Any chance of a trailer for this DLC before Comic-Con or will we hear absolutely nothing about it until then?

Very curious as to whether this continues the story or just adds a quest.

Will we be able to buy it physically as a DVD or only through the digital store?

Are you crazy? If they release a trailer no-one will buy the DLC!

Expectations are set to low. If they manage to go below my already low expectations, I think I might cry. Or murder some wildlife.

Or hijack a sub in the edmonton mall...

if it would be available physically as well, it would be a clear indication that its a substantial expsansion or addon. (which i do hope and count for). Not really interested in running 1-2 hours around.

Well, at least now we know that we can stop haunting the boards for news of DLC for a month, anyway. That was getting old.

Is anyone going to go? Just wondering..

Sadly I live in TN so it would be a little hard for me to get there.

A facebook post from Bioware:

Bioware wrote...

We will be at San Diego Comic Con! Come to the Bioware Base at the Hilton Gaslamp hotel to check out the Mass Effect 3 hands on demo and the never before seen Dragon Age 2 Legacy!

So does that mean Legacy is the title of the upcoming DLC? It's such a generic title that I'm not sure what it could be about. Possibly Malcolm Hawke?
