Well, it looks as though we know what it's going to be called at least...
From Bioware's Twitter:
BioWare is going to be at San Diego Comic Con!! Come visit us for Mass
Effect 3 hands on demo and Dragon Age 2 Legacy!! www.bioware.com
so will it be an expansion/ new campaign like awakening? (God, I hope so) but it also seems a little too soon for that.... ah, we'll see i guess.

"If this is a roundabout way of asking if Legacy is an item pack, it most certainly is not. It's not as big as Shadows of Undrentide, but it's DLC, not an expansion pack. "

Peeps be doin it wrong.
BioWare, this DLC better be as BIG as Awakening, have a toolset, totally remake the first game, and let me ride on the back of a gryphon that shoots lightning balls out its mouth or I will NEVER BUY A BIOWARE GAME AGAIN!
Signed,
Your one true fan
But seriously, taking all this time and all the talk about the DLC sure are creating a lot of expectations... I hope Bioware can deliver it.
Yep. Not getting my hopes up.

Color me curious. I hope we get to see some kind of continuation to the overall story and not just some random event that happened while Varric skipped a few years.
Hmm, not sure about that...

But it certainly is story driven. Some...interesting revelations in
there, and we've gone to lengths to be sure you can engage with it at
any point in DA II after you reach Kirkwall, including from the
post-game save (which, like DA:O, takes place "just before" the events
of the end game).

Im sorry, but my english is not that good. Does this mean it will be in the same manner as The Exiled Prince? Some more quests but no more of what happend after the end of DAII?
Anyway, can´t wait. Hope they release it in july just after showing it!

What would be interesting is to see the warden and hawke getting together or having some story leading up to that conclusion. Surely both characters going missing needs to be explained..
Well, the Warden did go missing after finishing his epic quest (if he did not go searching for Morrigan), hence the story is indeed is a "conclusion". but DA2 ending felt more like episode 5 of a 10 episode show. Like a prequel to something more...epic.
Isn´t really DA universe just different game in the same world? Like one game is in Africa, one is in Asia etc and nothing really needs to be connected to be a complete story. just few threads. (Especially that the Warden had more "important" stuff to do than help saving Kirkwall. Must be another blight or something in another continent...
