Im sorry, but my english is not that good. Does this mean it will be in the same manner as The Exiled Prince? Some more quests but no more of what happend after the end of DAII?

Anyway, can´t wait. Hope they release it in july just after showing it!

It's not an expansion, it's just an added quest you can play anytime in the game.

I dont know what to expect but i do know that they did say in interview at one time that they have 2 dlcs in the making and they are suppose to be longer than any other dlc they have done for da:o suppose to be legnthy i hope so whatever they are im sure they will be good and i hope they do a dungeon variation because thats only thing that gets old in da2 to me is same ass dungeon areas lol.

Here's a tagline: We swear it plays nothing like DA2.

I sure hope if I go to Gamescom in Cologne - not sure yet if I'll go... it's 20 minutes away - I'll not see the dlc. Should be released for a month by then and not interesting enough anymore to showcase it.

"DA2 - The good Version" could also work,
or "The other half of DA2, now it feels like a game!"
but I'll keep my expectations as low as a fluke. Even if it brings the game to a level at which it is acceptable, it'll just show that they should have released the game at that point in time as a finished product.

My guess is we'll see something more like how Bethesda does DLC for the Fallout games. It'll be a four to five hour chunk of DLC (maybe more though) with some new characters and quests, not really big enough to be an expansion but it'll be a sizable add-on with probable replay value for each of your completed playthroughs. Legacy to me suggests that it is going to be in the aftermath of the main game. Legacy of what, though, is the question.

That is wishful thinking! Let's hope you're not too far off.

Here we go. This will just be a hack and slash mission pack that will have absolutely no effect on the game nor will it address the sad excuse for an ending or add any sort of meaningful completion to any characters... We'll all have to pay through the nose for this DLC and most will be sadly disappointed with it.

Unless Bioware manages to completely surprise most of us by making this free (Bwa ha ha ha ha ha...) or having this actually effect a single choice or outcome from the game this will be a complete waste of time...

Surprise me Bioware... I dare you to...

Nice to see everyone so positive.

To me, Legacy sounds like a Malcolm story. Maybe I'm wrong. Can't wait to see it, though.

The DA2 DLC will take place on the wounded coast, once for every year you get to play.

Maybe a DLC that let us continue the abrupt ending in Act 3... and a DLC that explains why everyone was acting like complete and utter retards. So yeah, give me 10-15 hours of gameplay, without a single reused map. Oh and let it be for free as well, then DA2 would, maybe, be worth it.

*blink*  They are upping the price of their DLCs?  Where did you hear this?

Their previous prices haven't cost more than I'd pay for an espresso drink and a muffin at Starbucks (which doesn't last longer than about 15 min).  It would have to cost a LOT more than that to be considered paying through the nose.

Unless your nose is about the size of my kitty's.

And how do you know she is right? This is your typical DA2 hyperbole, nothing more, nothing less.

That never keeps people from complaining sadly. Even if they don't buy it, they still complain constantly.

Even if it's fantastic, I wouldn't hold out much hope of a DLC saving a game people don't like in the first place. DA2's answer to "Hordes of the Underdark," maybe, but not a DLC.

I think most people who "dislike" DA2 (including me) actually really love it but are very upset and disappointed in the way BioWare made a mess of it.
It CAN be fixed, I won't believe otherwise.
BioWare can make a massive patch to sort out all the main concerns and provide an excellent DLC to give the game more meat.
They CAN do all this stuff, but will they? That remains to be seen. If not, then I'm done.

DA2 is supposed to be a AAA game, but it's not.

I think the people who provide criticism against DA2 and address its flaws care about the Dragon Age universe, but I'm not sure they love DA2.

Good news that ME3 and DA2 DLC will be at ComicCon, as this will be the first one that I'll get to go to.
