I can now confirm that Star Wars: The Old Republic with also be at San Diego Comic Con. They will be at the BioWare Base in the Gaslamp Hilton and in the convention hall at the Lucasarts/Star Wars booth. You do not need passes to visit us at the BioWare Base in the Gaslamp Hilton, but you do need Comic Con badges to get into the convention hall.

As we have more details on what Mass Effect, Dragon Age and Star Wars: The Old Republic activities we'll be taking part in at Comic Con, we'll keep proving updates. Stay tuned. :)

so, kind of awesome

Basically, it looks like the outside of just about every mountain in the game from what we've seen. :)

The "Vimmark Pass" we've seen in the game looks like many other areas (in particular, the Sunder Coast), but the screenshots Mike Laidlaw posted as teasers a while back suggest we'll see areas markedly different from the vanilla game's Vimmark Mountains and Deep Roads.

Because the DLC Deep Roads has griffons.  Sort of.

What do you mean "Vimmark Pass we've seen?" That's the Wounded Coast and Sundermount, right out Kirkwall. If you look at a map of the Free Marches, the Vimmark mountains start at Kirkwall and go all the way to Ostwick and Markham. They're huge! So to say that we have seen the area before or been to it is like saying we've seen the whole Free Marches from being in Kirkwall. Sundermount is right at the beginning of the Vimmark mountains and the Plastocene Forest (where a big chunk of DAL so far takes place), it's barely scratching the surface.

"From what we've seen," meaning, "We've seen very little, and let us hope that they don't re-use another area." Don't tell me you're not hoping it won't look like Sundermount, the Wounded Coast, or the mountains in which we started the game on (if it has a name, it escapes me)?

You took a very innocent post and blew it straight out of proportion. So, in light of your taking my words out of context (most likely because you believe I'm some Debbie Downer about the whole company like a lot of people act like now), I present to you this:<3
May it bring you many warm feelings in the coldest of situations.

I can't wait to here about the DAII DLC! This i Bioware's first chance to fix some of their mistakes from the game. I also hope this is a substantial DLC and not just some DLC that will cot me 8 dollars and i'll beat in an hour. Gue we'll have to wait and ee.

If BioWare has taken any of the fan feedback to heart then it will indeed be a meaty DLC. However, don't count on it also acting as a patch to fix other issues in the game.

Judging by some of the reactions on here I'd say some of you are going to be pretty disappointed.

Take it for what it is, some DLC not an expansion.

Where I bought the DLC's for Origins, I am going to hold myself from buying DA2 DLC. The game was ok for a first playthrough and absolutely no fun on more playthoughs (my opinion!). It must be one hell of a DLC will I consider to buy it.

I was actually more addressing Firefeng's quote than yours, sorry I lumped your quote in with that.

Anyone know when the DLC is set to be released? Xbox.com already has the achievements listed and that ruins my completed games when the DLC isn't out. I hate it when MS does that.

I am looking forward to the DLC, have points waiting to be spent.:innocent:

So when can we see a trailer of the Legacy DLC? :o

Doesn't a trailer get released before it comes out?

Thank you so much.  I just hate it when they add achievements for DLC when the DLC isn't out yet.  :pinched:

The achievements for DLC usually mean nothing until you play it. Before that it's all pure guessing (or wishing...)

I would venture to say that acheevs USED to mean nothing. But now we're in the age of Acheev Icons.

I just hope the DLC is somehow plot related and not just filler.

You did an excellent job inferring negativity where there was none.

DA][ is a mid-game, a part two stuck between at least 2 other games. In fact, from the looks of it, it seems that there are at least two other games to be released, or that DA][ is merely the skeleton on which a a 2 to 3 year worth amount of Witch Hunt to Awakenings-sized DLC can be hung.

In any case, the point I was making is, that no DLC will make the original game worthwhile, if you've already decided it is not. You wanted DA][ to be the best game ever, and it's not. And now you're mad, where you really don't have any grounds to. So don't get your hopes up, because if you do, they'll be shattered.

Also, I wuld like to note: I enjoy DA][ tremendously, but that's because I'm a really cheap date. :p

Really hoping this DA2 DLC is good i don't want to be paying 10bux for a 10min quest that doesnt explain anything being i huge DA fan i was (like everyone else) very pissed at DA2 in comparison to DA origins and we as fans i think have earned some redeeming DLC for DA2 for the pile of crap that bioware handed us in March. now i'm a bit bias since i don't like Mass Effect(get your shots in now i just couldn't get into it) but i think they need to focus on one game at a time it seems like a follow up story to DA2 got eclipsed by MA3, and Bioware forgot that they kind of forgot to put in the ending of DA2 because they were to busy with MA3....i would've been ok if they had just pushed the release date back to finish the game rather than rush it. but they did rush it and now they players and fans all feel shafted.....is this how The Old Republic is gonna be?
