on the PC. It didn’t happen in ME1 and ME2, and the more console shootery the
game became over the course of ME1 and ME2, the more a gamepad made sense.
Reading hands on impressions of the E3 demo seem to indicate that the gameplay
controls have gone even further in the direction of console shooter games
(Gears of War being referenced), so I'm curious if Bioware is currently
considering this?
I believe the excuse for the previous games was, the controls on PC were
designed for the PC interface. And while its sweet that you would say so; other
PC centric games (Witcher 2 most recently) have allowed the use of both
Keyboard/Mouse and Gamepad controls. Considering the work wouldn’t be in creating a control scheme (since you already have that for 360); is it really that
difficult to allow for two separate control interface options in the start
menu? I don't think you have to be programming gods to make this work since its
been implemented in most modern PC games.
Playing both the PC and 360 version of ME2, I personally preffer to play it with a controller in my hand; but my game saves are both on the PC. So short of buying both ME1 and 2, then spending countless hours going through 4 seperate storylines (2 for each game); I'm **** out of luck.
