Afterlife is a very clearly defined word. It means after you die. It is ridiculous to say "You could play his afterlife, but only if he lives".
I know, but I decided to say Afterlife because it is a relevant name in ME universe, then there is the chance of Shepard's death, and I am referring to after the main story life ending.
