ME2 DLC weapons carrying to ME3.

I was talking with some friends, though, and the general question was: Will Mass Effect 2 DLC weapons be available generally in Mass Effect 3, or wil lthey only be available to those who loaded up a character from ME2 who already owned the weapons.
TL;DR: Will ME2 DLC only weapons, and even kasumi, be only available to ME3 players who tranfer a save over with the DLC purchased?

I'm just mainly curious if the DLC will carry over, or if the three firepower pack guns will be generally available. I'm sure there's no way to know for sure.

I see four guns on there, none of which a Mattock, and none of which relating to DLC carrying over from ME2 to ME3.

Dude
look at the weapons
the N7 shotgun = Eviscerator
N7 pistol = Phalanx
N7 sniper rifle = incisor
so those weapons will most probably not carry over because they are part of the collector package
now what does that leave you with?
The GPS, I am not sure it will be in, it was by far the most powerful weapon in the game if you knew how to use it

I have seen the Eviscerator in screenshots, it is in the base game.crimzontearz wrote...

you only saw it in the hands of cerberus operative because the Eviscerator is technically illegal in council space and organizations like Cerberus use it
not sure Shepard has it, the only vid I saw shepard using a shotgun it was the average run of the mill scimitar

It is in the game, and there is an overwhelmingly good chance that Shepard will be able to use it without DLC.
The limited edition items are probably just super versions, or using the same models. Do you remember how many reskins there were in ME1?

When the Reapers descend on the galaxy destroying everything in their path, i doubt anyone will care if your shotgun does not quite fall within legal parameters.

yes hence why I doubt they will do it in ME3
no reskins
but we will see

It's been stated that you can pick up weapons that enemies drop, and we've seen enemies use the Eviscerator in screenshots and the Locust in gameplay. Also, in the gameplay footage from Earth shown at E3, Shep picked a Mattock off the ground and used it for the last part of the mission. So the Mattock, at least, is going to be available, or is, as of this moment, and I see no reason to suspect the others won't be.Mippoose wrote...

Or, use common sense: would BioWare show basically all of their E3 combat gameplay footage using a gun that people won't be able to use?

So the general consensus seems to be that the DLC items won't be exclusive to those who got them in me2?

I can't imagine that most of them would. Now, things like the Blackstorm, those might be, but we honeslty don't know enough.Mippoose wrote...

And yeah, it seems kinda pointless to import the guns knowing what we know now about the Mattock on Earth and Shur'Kesh, but maybe there's more to it. I imagine it'll make sense with more information.

Seems like something they should just let us know for certain - it's not gamebreaking, but could make DLC'rs happy. And even sell more DLC.

Now I'm worried I won't be able to blast Cerberus scum with my favourite shotgun in my 'proper' playthrough... Does anyone know if there's a chance the Claymore will be obtainable in ME3? I love that gun, but doing another ME2 run just to get it seems a bit much.

None of the DLC guns really seemed all that spectacular aside from the incredibly broken Mattock. I honestly wouldn't care.
Locust and Phalanx say hello.
