None of the DLC guns really seemed all that spectacular aside from the incredibly broken Mattock. I honestly wouldn't care.

Locust and Phalanx say hello.

Aside from the better accuracy, I don't really find the Locust to be much better than the Shuriken. As for the Phalanx, it's more powerful than, but much slower than the Carnifex. Plus I think the Carnifex looks much cooler. Just saying.

I would appreciate access to the Blackstorm and Terminus Armor on the 360 somehow even though I didn't grab the very exclusive Pre-Order bonus for it through gamestop. It has always been one of my favorite looking weapon and armor sets...

I want access to my Collector Armor, my Terminus Gear, and all my DLC weapons from ME2!
I also hope that the N7 weapons are not just reskins, particularly the sniper rifle; I hated the Incisor.
Would be nice if they worked entirely different from the normal weapons.

I also hope that the color scheme on these weapons are not exclusive to just these weapons. I like the color scheme on them, reminds me of the spectre grade weapons a la ME1, and would love to put it on my Revenant.

Finally I want to be able to use all of the Three Power Weapons. I did not understand why Shepard would only pick up one of the weapons and not all three of them. There is a weapon locker right there...Why not grab them all in his hands, put the ones he will not use in the locker, and replace whatever weapon he will use. That is why PC Gamers have it made...I would have loved to be able to use both the Revenant and the Widow. Personally, I think that all three weapons should have been available for all classes. They are "power" weapons, but they are so unique in Vanilla Game that they can change how a player decides to work through combat. The weapons really are not that powerful either. They certainly are balanced (except the revenant, that huge ammo count + high damage is only balanced by it's inaccuracy) in the fact that they carry so few rounds.

I am looking at the pic of them right now, they do seem very similar (though I will admit they are not exactly the same)

For Example: The N7 SMG looks very similar to the Locust (same handguard, same stock) but it is missing the Scope on the front.

maybe we are completely wrong in the asuumption that they are reskins...Here is to hoping.

would it matter even if they were reskins? Odds are if they were they'd probably get a decent damage boost.

It would matter to me because then they are basically making the other weapons obselete.
If they act the exact same way as my last weapons, but have a damage boost...It is no brainer which of the two of the sets will be better. I would b much happier if they were entirely unique and only gave me a new choice.

For Example, giving the N7 weapons stealthy silencers and lazer sights. With the new focus on stealth gameplay (assassinations, omniblade, shield wielding enemies) as a possible option, having guns that do not fire loudly combined with a better AI (that does not have shepard radar) could enable the player to stealthily take out scouts or small squads without alerting other enemies in the area. Giving them lazer sights (though already seen in the Phalanx) can enable better precision, thus going with the theme of assassination weaponry. We know that N7 stands for special forces. Comparing our current special forces that focus on being unseen small terrors (ghosts if your feeling dramatic) with the N7 ranks would make these modifications realistic.

To OP: Maybe if you bought the ME2 DLC packs, Shep will have the weapons from the start. And if you didn't buy them, Shep will get them later-ish (couple missions) in the game.

Remember- You can get weapons that enemies drop and we've seen Cerberus soldiers with Eviscerator and locust so at least those two appear (at this point) to in generally although you may not begin with them

More than likely, DLC owners will have access to the wepons from the beginning of the game, non-DLC owners will have to purchase them throughout the game.

After watching the Earth footage from ME3, I would say no. Why? A weapon Shepard picks up was the Mattock, thereby unlocking it.

Man, do whatever you like with your shootys and Assault rifles, I just want another Predator like pistol, the Carnifex was cool, but the ammo was a big NO.

On topic, Damn broken Mattock, finally sees the light, meh, whatever, probably as they've said before, the other DLC's will be available from the start

I thought that pistol was called a Camflex? Or was I just not reading the text right(the text was nowhere near as good as in ME1) I also preferred the Predator because of it's fast firing rate and clip size

I only have one concern: I chose assault rifle training over the Claymore for the canon playthrough of my main, Vanguard Shep. I eventually chose the Claymore in my 'what-if' playthroughs but fell in love with it after mastering the reload trick.

Now I'm worried I won't be able to blast Cerberus scum with my favourite shotgun in my 'proper' playthrough... Does anyone know if there's a chance the Claymore will be obtainable in ME3? I love that gun, but doing another ME2 run just to get it seems a bit much.

I have the same issue as you do, plus this applies to Infiltrators who didnt pick the M-98 Widow as well. It would be nice to get a specific answer from Bioware
