Because he used to be a ninja then a thread like this was started to persuade him to go back to being a volus.
I suppose he could have some deep emotional attachment to the suits. Or when he thinks things... they happen.

Totally wrong. Volus are great with money and are bad fighters probably not alcoholics and live in wide open areas.
Dwarves have a love for alcohol and usually live in mountains or originate from there and are fearsome fighters.

I wonder if Stanley is good with money like the Volus are. You don't even see the Volus too much...at least they seem to be more of a secondary species as far as exposure.
