Just got a quick question,

I'm going for the completionist achievement this summer because i've finally got the time to do it.

just completed Noveria, but I realized that I missed the mission Noveria: Quarantine.

my question is, is this mission absolutely essential to getting the achievement? if i don't complete it will i not get the achievement?

i know that you do not literally have to complete 100% of the game to get completionist, i guess i'm just wondering if you have to complete 100% of the main story missions, which i think Quarantine falls under. I'm pretty sure it isn't an assignment. Anyone know the number of missions and assignments you have to complete to get this achievement, maybe?

No it's not necessary. Obviously it's another mission so it would go toward the total, but you don't need to do it. All that matters is you do enough missions and assignments total. There's not any one mission/assignment that you absolutely have to do to get the achievement.
