Besides that tiny and short art book that comes with the N7 edition, Do you want a separate, hardcover, full size art book like BioWare did for ME1? Or would you prefer it to be a smaller section as part of a special strategy guide? What did you like/dislike about the two art book options?

I personally love the ME1 art book and it is amongst my favorite books that I own. I just didn't feel like I could share and display the special video game strategy guide for ME2 as well to show off the art. A separate option would be welcomed in my case, especially if they decide to do a huge trilogy version.

EDIT: Thanks to adm123 for the link below. A Mass Effect franchise art book appears to be in the works.

There's a 184 page ME3 art book listed on Amazon for pre-order, from Bioware and Dark Horse.

"The Mass Effect trilogy is a groundbreaking epic that has immersed gamers in one of science fiction's richest universes. Now BioWare and Dark Horse are proud to invite fans deeper than ever into the Mass Effect saga with The Art of the Mass Effect Trilogy! Featuring concept art and commentary by BioWare on the games' characters, locations, vehicles, weapons, and more - including the upcoming conclusion to the series, Mass Effect 3 - The Art of the Mass Effect Trilogy is the most complete companion available to gaming's most compelling series."

I want a 'Kramer' version. Where there are little folding panels on the back so the book becomes a coffee table.Posted Image

I'm guessing the only art book will be in the collector's edition. Though Prima will likely do a deluxe hardcover guide that includes some bits of it as they did with DA2.

I don't mind a nice guide, but I don't want that to be considered the big artbook too like with ME2. I am not into those mini art books. They are good once or twice, but they basically look like an art book that got cookie cuttered down to be cheap to ship in the game box and they never have enough pages. They just don't look nice enough to go next to real coffee table art books. As a fan, I want more and would like the option to buy it like we had with ME1.

got 'd on creating an artbook thread

I'm an artbook nut, so yes by all means I want a separately sold artTOME: something along the lines of 25+ cm x 30+ cm with a page count of at least 150
it should span the entirety of the trilogy, even if some things had been touched upon in the ME artbook already and ... that appetizer booklet we got with the ME2 CE

- life forms (species & creatures)
- characters + armor/clothes
- vehicles
- locations
- weapons, tech, etc

as far as I'm concerned they could also include artwork from ME:Galaxy or sketches/scribbles from the comics, there are a few in the Redemption TPB and probably the best part of the comics ;)

and I said it before, but if that gets it done, I'd offer to layout it for free (I'd help with choosing the pictures, too :D )
I put together the artbook (admittedly just a mini PDF and in the end I didn't have that much time available ...) for the Alpha of the Mass Effect Chronicles

I would personally love a trilogy art book. Maybe with a very simple cover focused on that horizon light behind the planet that slices into the Mass Effect logo at the end of the trailers.

I do hate when my art books have the number of something like 2 or 3 on it, but I would take that anyways for ME3 if they won't do a trilogy art book.

I want a full ME trilogy art and production book. I wouldn't want it to be exclusive to ME3, I'd like all the contents to span the entire production of the ME trilogy, from pre-2007 to 2012.

That would make a great coffee table book :D

I want a Bioware Art Book of all their work. :( I love art books and concept work. DAO and DA2 have nothing, and the ME2 book isn't in depth enough for my taste.

oh yeah, they need to make "The Art of the World of Dragon Age", too
the little bits that Joy Ang and Matt Rhodes posted on their respective DeviantArt sites and what little we can glimpse at in the DA2 Guide CE is just too good to pass, but I want to see more ... and I can't be the only one

not to mention SW:TOR ... come on ... I bet they have a picture or two floating around for a game that size :D

Actually, it implies it is of the franchise in general, which is waaaay better. Thanks for the link.
