ok we all know by now that cerberus is after us and the illusive man is having a smoke and drink in his cozy base in god knows what system, while we have liara as the sb a ship that can survive in a crazy lightning storm planet, info and a army. it would make sense if liara just had her people find the illusive man main base and attack it, but what if there is a reaper bouncer watching it. just wondering <_<

Don't know how I missed this post. With Cerberus after Shep and co. and having Liara as part of the squad, that really only leaves Feron at the SB base. Fighting Cerberus is a job I wouldn't give to the SB. Cerberus is an enemy that falls and dies just like any other organic. I would rather Feron track down TIM and feed me coordinates and after that have Feron use resources to study how the Reapers are gaining ground. In all of the vids I've seen about ME3, it shows lots of Cerberus activity. My team can "chip" away at TIM's forces while the SB and others study the Reapers. The SB's ship should also allow freedom without being detected. And once TIM's position is given away, I'll have Liara slap him with a singularity.

I was thinking there'd be a fight between Cerberus and the Shadow Broker but I figured TIM would go after Liara not the other way around. Cerberus must know where the SB base is and it would make sense to attack it so that Shep would have less intel.

@Warlock Adam and illusive_wolf

I say this because of the history of with him and Liara. Also the possibilty of being a double agent, thus why he was captured and being tortured by the then SB.

With Liara gone, Feron will have all of the information at his fingertips. He could make a deal with TIM on where Shepard is, or what not. It's a working theory. I will have to replay LotSB or watch dialogue/cut scenes and get back to you. If I find sufficient evidence to support my claim, expect a thread.

I doubt even the Shadow Broker knows where the Cerberus base is. Remember the Shadowbroker was openly hostile to Cerberus. They would have likely already planted a few bombs on the station and blew up already if they knew where it was.

Oh, from Redemption? Where he was a Cerberus agent?

Well, he seemed to reform and join Liara's side during the comics. And then he was tortured by the previous SB for two years...and then rescued by the new SB. I'd assume he'd be more loyal to his rescuer, and not to a pro-human extremist.

I also kinda assumed he'd take over for Liara when she joined us in ME3. Because if he betrays us, then everybody knows Liara's the SB, and we lose her intel, and, y'know...that kinda renders LOTSB moot.

I've never read the comics, so I'm totally lost there.

To be honest, if I was the SB, I would be loyal to the person who pays the most for the information that they want. We do not know how many SB agent's there are, if there are any agents in Cerberus, local governments, etc. We do know that the SB has the power to do "smear campaigns," and run an extortion racket from mercenary gains. And push their agendas on organizations. There's surveillance footage of the "big players" and some "minor players" in the ME universe.

So it's safe to assume whereabouts of the Cerberus base could be known. Who knows, maybe TIM pays to keep the information safe. Or no one has asked the right questions.

*Deep breath

He appeared on Omega, offered to help Liara find Shepard's body, led her (by accident) into an ambush by Blue Suns working for the Shadow Broker, was rescued by Cerberus, was revealed to be working for the Shadow Broker (to divert Liara), agreed to really help Liara find Shepard's body (to be given to Cerberus), led her to a Shadow Broker base, helped her retrieve Shepard, was revealed to really be a double agent working for Cerberus (against the SB for siding with the Collectors), helped Liara escape, and was then captured by the SB and tortured for two years. Then Liara rescues him in LOTSB.

*Whew

If anything Cerberus already took down the Shadow Broker network and that's why Liara is playing soldier again.

You see, if all of that was in a comic, I missed it!  Never read them as of yet.

Eh, they're not really necessary to read. Writing's ok, art's ok...

Honestly just look up the plots on the ME Wiki if you want.

To the original comment, I do believe you'll get random tidbits from Feron that will lead to TIM in emails, and that it will eventually lead to a mission where you get to confront TIM, and he is all Andrew Ryan like, where no matter what you do, you won't feel good about it, because he is TIM.

well in some interview casey stated taht the color of the sun behind TIM was a hint to his location so really all the sb needs to do is find the location of any sun that recently turned blue or red

Liara is a cerberus agent.   TIM took over because Liara was too much of a newb and TIM needs the galaxy ready for war

Feron can betray Liara also he's loyal only to himself

Also remember that Cerberus and the SB were generally at war with each other from ME1 all the way up through LotSB in ME2.  And when the dust settled, Cerberus had won that war.

Two years of torture? Who know's maybe betwen the time that has passed he started showing signs of post-tramuatic stress disorder which led him to do crazy things?
