I support Liara in ME4, as a romance option of course.
Liara: "There's something... compelling about you, NewMainCharacter."
Player: "Oh yeah? Well, I've selected all Paragon responses up to this point, so let's get with the sexytimes~"
Liara: "Wait, first, I must tell you... I have a daughter. It doesn't matter if Shepard was my love-interest or not, I still decided to use my mind-raping powers to make a little blue baby. ...I hope you're okay with that, NewMainCharacter."
Player: "But, Shepard died, like, a hundred years ago..."
Liara: "Yes, my daughter is almost an adult by Asari standards."
Player: ".....is she hot?"
Hey I'm not pushing mind rape, I just think it would be great to have her bridge the divide between games. I know, I know people dislike her and what not? But, you know what if you guys can start whole threads about her plot armor I can hope she returns in later parts of the series.
The love interest thing well, that;s just me being me and I find the idea of playing her new flame to be particularly entertaining.
I like Liara, you can dislike her.

I admit that ME2 made me a Liara hater. Mostly because of the whole "betrayed me to cerberus thing" and the fact that she kept constantly hitting on me especially during LotSB. My Shepard is with Ashley but she won't leave my Shepard alone.

This is one of the most ridiculous things I've read in this thread - and there's fierce competition.

That is just my opinion.
She admitted giving Shepards body to cerberus. Because of that Shepard had to work for a terrorist organization. I just hated that in ME2 like so many other things. That also lead to the Horizon desaster with Ashley. In a way even that was Liara's fault. Couldn't she just give Shepards body to the Alliance for a decent burial or cremation (the latter would be better. That way the Collectors would be screwed.). ME2 was a disappointed on every turn for me.
The SR-1 destroyed, Ash hating Shep because he is forced to work for a terrorist organization which is Liara's fault in the first place, a new horrible wannabe Normandy etc. etc.
Looking forward working for the Alliance again in ME3 and making things right with Ashley. If I get the choice to betray/space/kill/sacrifice Liara I happily will do so.

1) You can't flirt with Liara in LOTSB if you didn't romance her in ME1. How exactly is she hitting on you in LOTSB?
2) Now I understand where this "paragon = naive, overly idealistic moron" thing comes from.
1. I played through every option in LotSB. Renegade and Paragon. It is the way she talks to Shepard, the way she acts toward him (body language). It is always there and became annoying. In one playthrough I decided I wanted my Sheps dog tags back from her and invited her to the Normandy. Did you see what she was wearing. A friend wouldn't wear that. She was expecting or hoping for more and at the end of the scene ... It was so typically BW forcing the whole Liara LI down our throught. Nothing happened between Liara and Shep but he was sitting on his bed and said "Be back soon!" Hello? Where is the dialogue wheel? A "Goodbye" would have been what I wanted him to say and not that rubbish line.
2. That feels a bit insulting. Yes, I play a pure Paragon with my main Shepard.
Played Paragades/Renegons and Renegade two with other Shepards. Paragon suits my own personality best.

Wait.. so the good thing for Liara to do was to leave Shepard dead? Also, allow him to be sold to the collectors for who knows what purpose? Interesting.
Please read my post again.
I wrote that she should have given me to the Alliance instead. My body could have been cremated/turned to ashes. that way the Collectors would have been screwed and I wouldn't have had to suffer through ME2.

So, your pronlem with Liara is that she allowed Shepard to take part in ME2? This... may be the strangest argument ever, but, it's not one that's easy to counter. It's still worth a few giggles though...

Cerberus pretty much destroyed any second chance with Ashley. Replay Horizon. She apologized later on but all in all Shepard and Ashley haven't been romantically involved for over 3 years and thus beginning ME3. I hope the writers will make up for their mistakes with ME2.

You wouldn't have to suffer ME3 either, because the Reapers would have reached the mass relay in the Batarian system and wiped everyone out.

Well I hated ME2. Being forced to work for terrorists/Cerberus and all pretty much destroyed the game for me and the fact that my choice in LI was had nothing more than two very short cameos in ME2.
ME1 was epic and I felt like a hero at the end. ME2 made me wish it never happened.

ME3 has the potential to be a really great game.
Ash is back. Shepard is reinstated into the Alliance and my ME1 squad is back. Most of the customization options from ME1 will return also and the game is said to feature more heavily on RPG like ME1.

Still pissed at Liara and the writers for the Cerberus thing.

Now, heres where I start to scratch my head here. Liara ressurecting Shepard for Mass Effect 2 is BAD, but, if she didn't ressurect her she wouldn't be able to take part in mass effect 3? Does it become a pro now, or did she still "RUIN EVERYTHING!"

Not a pro. I meant ME1 squad in general. Garrus, Tali, Ash, Wrex (temporary as far as we know) and even Anderson in the beginning.

But without Liara you wouldn't have the chance to experince this reunion. You'd either just be floating in space, being turned into reaper goo, or possibly burnt to ash because creamation makes everything better.

I know that and I never said or implied that. That was just tough luck on Shepards part or just really bad writing. Take your pick but from a RP point of view did my Shepard die that day. Shepard from ME2 onwards is just an inferior clone in my RP playthrough.
