I find this thread full of lulz. That being said, people are way too involved in this whole "Why can't Liara die" and the whole. "Support your LI" threads out there. I say take a step back, breath, go watch some television, play a video game, spend time with friends, family or loved ones in real life. I love video games, don't get me wrong. But it doesn't control my life.

the reasons go in the following order:

1. liara's armour plating, constructed out of the rare material known as "plotarmourium", mined in an unknown Thessian quarry.

2. forced friendship (why did liara have to bring me back? why not ash? why not kaidan? why do I have to hug her on Ilium even if my shep hates aliens?)

3. "forced" plot relevance (why is she the shadow broker now? whether that's forced, well I thought the information broker thing was contrived but her becoming the SB made much more sense from then on)

4. ninjamance in ME1 (I hate you liara! ohhhh shep, we're near ilos, we may never come back, need to mindf*ck you one more time)

5. bitterness she is in the first game and can't be killed, got an amazing DLC in ME2, and will be a full squaddie in ME3, whereas [favourite character] won't be

6. simply just don't like her personality

there's probably some more I forgot, but I think I covered the main bases
