Bioware, when exactly did your mass collapse into the singularity of suck that it is Liara? Somebody must really like her. She's the only squad member who won't die, you don't have the option of just leaving her out of your game. It's like game is forcing Liara on you and just when you think, "Thank God, I don't have to deal with that lunatic anymore" BOOM. There she is all up in your grill again. I'm being raped, and I don't like it. No sir, don't like it one bit.

I feel like she is a bit of a Mary Sue because she keeps getting shoved into important roles regardless of how the character was previously written. She went from an obscure unnoticed, unliked even among asari archeologist to being a big time info broker to being the shadow broker to whatever the hell she is supposed to be doing in ME 3. It's too much dumped into one character so yeah, it's a no brainer she can't die because she's important for too much crap. Aside from forcing the VS on us in ME 3 like they did in the demo, it's really the most obvious point of just lazy, bad writing. All the shadow broker stuff could have been a different character and she STILL could have been in ME 3 in a big way because of her ideas from ME 1 were actually dead on correct.

I will never get the Liara hate. So because she can't get killed people hate her? That makes no sense. Of course most of the time these days the bsn makes no sense.

Fortunately we have people like you to widely miss the point for the rest of us the rest of the time, so that we don't have to.
