I've searched the forums and yeah I know it's flooding with threads about this topic but I have a question:

I am playing my first playthrough as a commoner dwarf, I've got to Ozammar and eventually went with Harrowmount because Vartag's mission was too dishonest, I am looking for Branka right now, I want to side witrh Bhelen in the end, so if at the final chance I change sides and put Bhelen on the throne, would it be the same as if I side with him from the beginning? or will Bhelen and Rica hold a grudge on me for not supporting them from the start?

They won't hold a grudge. The only real important decision is who you side with in the end, and this comes after you meet Branka and return to Orzammar.

Thanks, I can now continue on from the current save and not have to go back 4 hours, huzzah...
