Mostly I'd like the DA team to focus on the stories they care to tell.
If these stories are best told via DLC, expanions or the next installment is up to them. I'll take whatever :P

Gameplay-wise my only wish is for Dragon Age to remain a party-based rpg (there are sadly not enough party-based games out there). Other than that, they can experiment all they want!

As long as it is a party based rpg I am playing, but I hope it is not Neverra we are going to next.

In the near future/future of the franchise, I would like/hope to see:
[list]
· The remaining bugs of DA2 fixed, especially the import of Zevran, and the sunder bug. Both are incredibly annoying.
· Closure, REAL closure for Hawke., not just 'he/she disappeared'. I want to see a conclusion to Hawke’s story, before being shoved with another protagonist.
· Customization returned, not quite to the extent of origins. Like if you get new armour for a 2h warrior, make it change according to character. Something like a blue streak pattern on Fenris's armour.
· The return of conversation history.
· One straight LI for both genders. It gives it more realism IMO

^^This!  I do miss the conversation history tab.  I, too, would like to see it resurface in a future expansion, DA 3 and beyond. =)

In the real world, people are either, straight, bi, or homosexual.  If budget permits, it would be ideal if Bioware reflects this in DA 3 and beyond.  Nevertheless, I have to applaud Bioware for including romances in their games.  =)

No more new protagonists, please.

It has been stressed by the Devs that Dragon Age is about the world.  Hence, in this light, the world of Thedas will always have a different flair, a different feel, if seen via the eyes of a new protagonist instead of a static one. Every individual (in this case, a character) has a different perspective on the world—therefore, proceeding this way will keep the series: fresh, alive and its wonders (the beauty that is Thedas) forever exciting—a place one would want to visit and re-visit over and over or repeatedly.  =)

An art-book for the Signature edition!

I agree. I personally thought I had heard more then enough about Grey Wardens and Darkspawn through Origins & Awakening. I'd think it would be pretty dull to keep playing the same character through countless installments. It would be interesting to play as an Elven character again, or even a Qunari in future sequels. I thought the Dalish origin was pretty good, but I feel like the Elves could be explored more, so I wouldn't mind playing a Elven protagonist thus seeing the world in a different light.

^This, although I liked the concept and want the darkspawn to be rightly returned to their original Origins design, I hope darkspawn are used sparingly in future DA games and dont become cannon fodder for dungeon crawls.

That is unless there is a generally interesting and original story dedicated to them in a full game, same goes for GW's

^ I agree with everything that has been said here!Posted Image. However, I would prefer a Qunari protagonist, maybe something based more from their perspective instead of the perspective as others. Either way, I'd prefer to see a new protagonist (with references to the previous 2) since it fits with how the Dragon Age series is progressing.

I'm kind of not entirely sure, about having a new protogonist. I mean, it will feel more and more like a generic Final Fantasy game, but to qoute allistar: wel'l see

I want closure, most of all, especially for the warden; however Ican understand if its not possible. But with hawke it is possible, no excuses. They did a similar thing with FFX and FFX-2, and you got closure for yuna/tidus.

That would be awesome! To be able to experience the culture as an actual Qunari, being able to see how they would treat one of their own as they are about to step into the world would be quite interesting. I know others might say 'what's the big deal?' but... the Qunari did give Dragon Age II a unique side. We were able to learn more about them after Dragon Age Origins. I second this idea.

I want to see mages have the ability to construct their staves and upgrade them over time as they get more powerful...not simply the staff getting better as you do. It would make for some nice quest achievements and a bit more immersion if a mage can build his or her own focus.

Now this is a nice idea, though I'm not sure how well it would work with the lore as I understand it since I think the staves are wood or metal worked with Lyrium, which is the province of the dwarves or the Formori branch of the Circle.

It would be easy as a quest or to have a Fomari available to you who can help upgrade your staff...maybe sandal can do it ;)

Another nice thing to see would be to explore more about Sandal's origin and what he REALLY is and maybe even have him as a party member. He seems like he'd be fun to have around.
