Will there be exclusive items again like the Cerberus assault armor and Zaeed? I liked the armor, but I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't customize it at all.

EA = milking the DLC as much as possible

You can bet there will be day 1 DLC.

I'm positive there will be retail purchase perks, similar to Cerberus Network.
It's an established business model for EA so I would be surprised if it wasn't.

If it wasn't for used games, the Cerberus network wouldn't exist, so you might want to save some hate for GameStop and the like.

This.

I can't pre-order or buy a game without being asked and reminded twenty seven times that if I trade 18* games I can get $20 off my next purchase....
I look the store person up and down and politely ask "So, lets just assume I didn't believe in ownership of games, didn't want to hang on to my prized possessions like trophies, or because I don't like the idea of being able to pick them up and play them whenever I want. WHY would I give you any of my games for a dollar and a pat on the head, so you can sell AGAIN at near full price and the developer of the game gets nothing?"

Jerks.

*18 is an exagerration - the number may be lower - like 12^ or something.

^Also slight exagerration.

I just hope there will be more variety with shops than there was in ME2, because I loved how many different weapons, armors, and other items you could get in the first. I've been playing the first for 2 years now, and I still haven't found everything.

Lots of games companies have their games resold as used games, and most of them don't create silly day 1 DLC.

But more are - and more companies are starting to acknowledge used game sales as a bigger threat than ..er...that word we do not say for fear of banning and lock - I am referring here to wooden legs, parrots and eye patches.

I thought Cerberus Network was pretty good. Wouldn't mind if something like it made it into ME3.

And what pricks they are for giving us free DLC too. Bioware you are bad, you should feel bad. Free stuff in my ME3? No-****ing-thanks.

Thank god for gamestop and other 2nd hand game sellers. I don't want to spend 60€ on a game like shadow of the damned, one that takes 8 hours to beat max.

Don't mind spending 80€ on a 30+ hour game, exspecially for a game i'll be playing 10 times over, like me3/

I say bring it, will be buying the collectors edition anyway.

Eh. I miss physical pre-order bonuses that showed more appreciation for the preorder like ME1 discs and cases. It is far too obvious that digital content is a virtually free way for the company to pretend they are giving you special value, but my digital download costs them nothing once it is up on the network and it is generally small enough that it didn't cost much to develop either.

I'll take the content if it isn't bad, but I'd rather see some major expansion instead. Anyone else wish that BioWare had followed through with the ideas to add on solar systems and planets for us?

I believe that one of the developers at E3 said that there will be something similar to the Cerberus Network in ME3, it just won't be called the Cerberus Network. I hope that those who buy used copies won't get screwed over, but I doubt that Bioware, or EA for that matter, really cares.
As for day 1 or other DLC down the road, of course they will. DLC is a great money-making route for developers. There is nothing inherently wrong with this, I just think developers need to use it more sparingly. I liked the weapon and armor packs, but I hope there are more of them in ME3, along with more Overlord and LOTSB type content.

DLC is here to stay and it does make money and lots of it.

But do hope there is something close to a network I don't mind the day one content has long as I have the game.

Why is it such a bad thing for publishers to provide incentive for buying new? All they are trying to do is gain a few more sales where they get a cut of the profit by giving completely optional content for free to people who by new and charge $10 to those who want this content but bought used.
