M!Hakwe/Anders and F!Hawke/Isabela

Which is how my mage hawke always ends up with Fenris.. because Fenris really wont fight for you unless you choose him. Then Anders is all ":crying:BUT BUT I'M SO LUVABLE LUV MEEE" and Fenris is  all " <_< I will cut you I swear"

I've romanced them all at least once, and have a canon Hawke for each LI minus Bela, because I'm still hoping my husband will actually finish his playthrough and then I can use his Hawke as my canon Bela-mance.

I've only ever romanced Isabella, I'd really like to romance Merril but she just screams teenager to me. I am hoping that we'll be able to romance the new character in the up coming DLC.

My brother-in-law romanced Isabela with F!Hawke and I wasn't crazy about that because they seem too alike. I intend to play a F!Hawke x Merrill playthrough soon. I think that would be cute-tastic.

So far, though I've only managed to complete M!Hawke x Fenris games. I know, I'm so sad. I can't seem to resist making a hot and hunky dude Hawke, and then when he meets Fenris ... it's hopeless. I tried to go for Anders once but couldn't do it. Not that I don't love Anders to pieces, but it seems my brain is auto-wired to see M!Hawke x Fenris as canon. Maybe if we could change Hawke's voice???

Yes. I said it. I did them all. In one playthrough. Isabela's clothing is too pretty to pass up. and the Fenris/Hawke/Anders hate is too funny.

My canon Hawke (aggressive male dual wielding rogue) (friend)romanced Fenris simply because he's my favorite option, plus like Fenris he hates mages (after what happened to Leandra and then Anders) and supports the templars.

Ironically, my aggressive male mage (pyro/geomancer) (friend)-romanced Anders and supported the mages. Since he's not my canon I have him as an 'Amell' or cousin of Hawke (and the Magi Warden). Sounds like a rival since my canon Hawke was more than happy to kill Anders >:-D. Would love to see a battle between the two.

Others:
Female diplomatic weapon & shield warrior- Sebastian (friendship-mance), since she's a templar she's naturally drawn to Sebastian's ideals and the Chantry

Female aggressive two hand warrior- Isabela (friendship-mance), she's a bad-girl templar who likes her vices.

Male sarcastic dual wield rogue- Merrill (friend-mance), he's an elf-blooded human who was born to a Dalish mother so he was drawn to Merrill and supports her and her clan.

Male diplomatic weapon & shield warrior- No One. He's a Grey Warden (not an option in the game, don't care because he's not canon and its MY backstory) so he doesn't have time for romance.

Female sarcastic mage (healer/ice mage)- Fenris (rival-manced). She's a Tevinter mage so she naturally drives Fenris crazy, considers him her little pet (Hawke isn't happy about her little desire to have him).


Want to do a straight Isabela-mance, lesbian Merrill and maybe a *gag* straight Anders-mance if I can stomach it.

Ugh. I just can't imagine anyone romancing the likes of Anders. His over-the-top self-righteous bullcrap is just too annoying. Maybe if he or someone cuts his tongue...

Oh yeah, it's almost always Isabela for me. Sometimes Merill. Fenris, once. That was enough emo for me.

Anders, as I always play a mage. Sebastian is gorgeous but the whole chaste relationship thing is a turn off. Hawke would need to become a proud patron of the Blooming Rose to deal with that.

I've also romanced all the characters available outside of Aveline (she's so law-abiding XD). I prefer M!Hawke's and romancing either Isabela or Fenris. With F!Hawke, I usually used to go for Sebastian or Anders, but Sebby now annoys the hell out of me with his religious nonsense and Anders ...... he pissed me off so much when he killed the Grand Cleric. I'm not religious, but I always saw her as a woman who would do what is always right, like when Sister Petrice had her templar boy-toy kill those Qunari? She told her to suck up any punishment that was coming her way. I also admired her because, even though she knew there was a possibility of her death, she would not abandon her post. You gotta admire a woman like that.

Or not. Elthina was a wishy-washy substandard coward who didn't have the strength or the balls to hold the position she did. I used to admire her, too, until I actually went and talked to her more extensivly. Her entirely mentality is 'sit back and hope someone else takes care of it'.

And she wasn't brave in the face of death. She was arrogent; she didn't honestly belive anyone would dare attack her.

Yes, Elthina had her awesome moments, but generally, she wasn't anything special. And after being warned more then once to gtfo before something bad happened to her, well, there you go, Elthina, we tried to warn you.

I don't nessicarily belive what Anders did was right, but I never hated him for it the way some people have. And I never wasted too much pity on Elthina, who could have saved her own life or taken action one way or the other, but instead lived in her own, deluded little protective 'no one will EVER attack MEEEEE' bubble.
