Friend Fenris, rival Fenris, friend Isabela, friend Merrill. Last one as MHawke.

I romanced Merril, Isabella, Fenris, Anders, then Merril again. I don't know why but for girl on girl reasons I just prefer Merril over Isabella. I do like Isabella cuz of her saucy personality but she just seems hard to get which is what I tried to do even in my first ever run. I was glad to finnaly romance Fenris cuz he's a big stick in the mud and even that night he has with female Hawke he treats like it was a one time thing. Romanceing Fenris seems not easy to do. Funny thing about Anders is I killed him after haveing a deep relationship with him. I swear it was so Shakespere. However it was ruined when Verric said Anders went with the champion in the epilouge when I killed him.

PS: Aveline kissed my female Hawke which wtf'd my Hawke. I was like ZOMG!

Really? hmm isn't that interesting.. is probably a bug or a way to say that anders is probably not dead at all, that varric didn't actually said everything about what happened? that the end is/was/went very differently of what we saw?
hmm so many questions.. I hate not having answers.

I never got Aveline to kiss my hawke.. how did you do that! lol...

1. First play through (Female rogue): Anders...  

2. Second play through (still with the same character, there were a few things that I wanted to change in order to save it as my default game...  Like NOT losing Isabela, and NOT having to kill Fenris in the end): Anders again...

3. Third play through (Male blood mage): Began romancing Fenris...  Talked with Anders, tried to keep it light, innocent and friendly, but he began flirting with me...  Arrrrg!!!

4. Created a fourth play through (Male templar), that I play alternately with the third, so that when the urge to leave Fenris to get back with Anders is too strong,  I don't give in to temptation.

Merrill twice (as a male 2H warrior), and this time (as a female forcemage) it'll be either Isabela (because I need the supplier trophy) or Fenris.

The latter may turn out to be an interesting choice, because Fenris escaped from mages and distrusts them, and my current5 character (who's horrifically fugly by design) is an iron-willed high-minded mage (with a well-concealed soft spot for equally iron-willed high-minded loners) who's bent on re-establishing a functional circle, and terminating with extreme prejudice all those on both sides of the fence who've clearly lost control and/or gone insane.

It's psychologically fitting that her personality (brute force) matches her magic school (force mage).

Well to answer the first question I would like to say it's a bug. My Hawke did stab Anders in the back with a dagger and left him as a corpse. Anders didn't even fault my Hawke for freaking out on him killing innocents so he felt him dieing at his beloved hands was fitting. But as I said in the epilouge Varric said 'Everyone seperated from the champion. All except Anders'. I was like what? That made no sense.

To answer the second question on the Donnic date quest for Aveline at the end of it I picked 'He is not the one' where my female Hawke told Aveline she was in love with Aveline all along. Also in the Chapter 2 part of Kirckwall (After the expeidtion) I noticed you start opening alot of 'Heart'  choices when talking to Aveline so I was picking them. The down side was my Hawkes relationship was heading toward the rivalry department which was kind of setting off Aveline in the Lol department. After the date with Donnic thing I went to Aveline and she got mad and wondered why I said what I said. I picked a  choice where my Hawke poured her heart and soul to Aveline. Aveline was blown away from it but said that I couldn't convince her otherwise about her dumping Donnic for Hawke. Aveline then kissed Hawke which Wtf'd Hawke and said that they may not get along all the time but she's be there for Hawke regardless and appreciates Hawke hooking Aveline up with Donnic.

I romanced both Isabella and Merrill, though I don't really like either character. Actually, I outright hate Merrill... she's a complete moron who I'd rather slap than romance. Give me Morrigan or Leliana over these two weak choices any day. Hell, I find Aveline to be a much more compelling love interest, even though you can't actually romance her (once I modded her looks, so she's got less of the trucker woman face going on).

I wound up having my female hawke romance isabella ... and if you bring Iz with you on the Murder of Crows quest in act 3, you have the option of getting into an off-camera 3-way* with Isabella and Zevran after the fighting's done.

My female mage (my only game) romanced Isabela. It was actually quite unintentional. I planned on having her be a straight woman, but I allowed her to be a little experimental. It stuck, and I'm not sure if I'd want to romance the others aside from Sebastian.

Anders, Fenris, and Merrill are a bit too much for my tastes.

I tossed a coin on my first playthrough (at a friend's) and got my Natalie Hawke to Friendmance Fenris. It was a choice between Anders and Fenris, and I regret nothing.

Ever since then, all but one playthrough has been a Fenmance. That one playthrough was my Andersmance playthrough. Thanks to that playthrough, Anders officially scares the crap out of me what with his creepy remarks...

"For the past three years, I've been up at night, aching for you" "ANDERS I DON'T WANT TO KNOW. REALLY." = Basically sums up my feelings on the matter.

You know there's something wrong when the healer scares you the most out of all the characters.

Merrill doesn't have enough personality. Too stupid and naive. Her comments aren't at the height of an adult woman.

Isabella is nice and funny, but that's all. And women who fornicate with everyone, no thank you. Not for me.

I romance them, because it is the story of my hawk but I felt nothing.
