Fenris all the way, no second thoughts. Anders was just blech and I cannae forgive him for a certain incident so that puts a stopper on the relationship even if I did pursue it.

Rival Fenris though, because although I don't agree with some of Anders' actions I also don't agree with of Fenris' views on mages. Probably because either a) I'm a mage or my sister is a mage

I've romanced Fenris as both Friendmance (lol?) and Rivalmance. I personally prefer Friendmancing him though.

I've been thinking of romancing one of the others, but I don't know if I'll ever go through with it. =(

Considering a Fenris romance for my next character, not sure yet. No interest in Anders, really, he talks about work a bit too much and he kind of worries me with his obsessiveness. Just my impression.

 Well my first playthrough I had a very short trist with Isabela and then got serious with Anders, I romanced Fenris with my anti-mage warrior, and I intend to romance Marril (Sp?) in my next playthough.

I am a straight male IRL and usually prefer playing male characters, but didn't feel drawn to either female LI like i was to morrigan and leliana, and fenris was too anti-mage, also wanted to put my hawke through the ringer in my canon playthrough (Father dies, Sister dies from Ogre, brother joins an order designed to control her, Mother murdered by blood magic, Lover turns them into terrorists and wanted fugitives, and she had to endure the horrors of Enchanted Soup for years!)

If I ever get around to playing a warrior, I'll probably go rival-Isabela. Anders felt like the romance most directly involved with the plot (for obvious reasons), but Isabela is my favorite for being the only non-crazy LI. And it would have been nice to have a character for Sebastian, but he is so not a romance. /shakes fist at DA2 writers...

I've played Dragon Age 2 two times as a fem mage. Fenris every single time now and for all my future characters (friendship romance). :3 Anders is a definite NEVER.

I flirted around the male LI's constantly, trying to see which one did it for me.

I ended up sleeping with Fenris, but I assumed he had dumped me (Because of something I did) after it and wasn't coming back, so I started hitting on Anders and by the end of the game and how he was beginning to treat my Hawke, was regretting my decision.

Anders, just because that's what I set out to do (loved him in DAO). Pretty disappointing. If I run another female character, I'm gonna try Fenris, although he rubs me in the wrong way. Should try it though. I think I might first try a male character with Isabela since she seems pretty interesting. Not interested in Merill. They really should let people romance Varric! :-D

1 time on the rival path with my rouge (didn't like that at all.)

Probably went over this a while ago, but Lady Rogue was an interesting playthrough...

Lady Warrior: Merrill, because she's too easy. This playthrough was too perfect, except for my end decision.

Man Mage: Tried Fenny-boy, but he didn't go too wild for mage-sausage.
So Mr. Man-mage ended up defrosting his heart for lil' blood mage Merrill after vying for Fenny-boy and being a bit of a ****** to other mages. It was kind of cute actually.

Lady Rogue: Is leaning towards Fenris too, but abuse of the purple options is making it out to actually be a bit hard. Making Aveline grumpy and screwing about with Isabella is much more fun. AGH! Merrill, sop being so CUTE!

well, i've played through them all.

I consider my canon hawke to be my snarky/giggly girly warrior with pink hair who rivalmanced fenris. I just have this idea in my head of little Andie Hawke's jaw dropping open and then giggling and elbowing her sister saying how incredibly awesome he is when he walks down those steps in the alienage the first time.

yes, i'm odd that way. But i find it reeeeeeeallllly tough to pick anyone but fenris every time i play through. I mean, how do you NOT say "seems like a waste of a perfectly handsome elf"?

Morriel here is currently rivalmancing anders (now that it's fixed) as a mage who sides with the templars to cover her own ass, basically. Though, I haven't reached the act 3 decision yet. From a roleplay perspective, i wanna keep Anders around, but from a gameplay perspective, my party setup with Sebastian basically EATS FACES OM NOM NOM and i'm finding myself reluctant to give up his 7k damage archer's lances...
