That is how I feel!!  Love my moody elf -- arguing ALL the time with him about Mages ( my Hawke was female Blood Mage ) just kept the sparks going!!

Well, if your Hawke is a mage, he/she could conceivably just cure whatever creepy crawlies might be lurking.

First - Anders with female rogue
Second - Fenris with female rogue
Third - Fenris with female mage
Fourth - Fenris with female warrior
Fifth - Merrill with male rogue
Sixth - Isabella with male warrior
Seventh - Anders with female mage (just because I had to do one mage ending where I let him live)
Eighth - In progress with Fenris, again. All my romances were friendly but I'm sticking with Fenris from now on. Can't get enough of him!
Sebastian - not worth the effort. It kills me that he's always going on about being the last of his line but he won't even kiss you. How is that a romance? Buddy, you are going to STAY the last of your line if you don't get off your chastity vow high horse.

Yes. I said it. I did them all. In one playthrough. Isabela's clothing is too pretty to pass up. and the Fenris/Hawke/Anders hate is too funny.

First - Anders (friendship path) with a M!Hawke rogue but broke up with Anders at the end.
Second - Fenris (rivalry path) with M!Hawke Mage
Third - Fenris and then Anders with M!Hawke rogue. Fenris and Anders fighting over Hawke is too awesome.

Merrill, full stop. I might romance Isabela on a subsequent playthrough, but really, Merrill's the best.

How? Did you play bisexual? I played 'I'm only into girls' usually (2 or 3 playthroughs) were Isabella denies me the option to haveing a threesome and winds up stealing Zeveran from me even when I have a high relationship with Isabella. That's a bummer. How do you get to have a threesome with Zevypoo? Did you actually tell him he's handsome n stuff?

Well I'm currently running a female assassin rouge that's more into women but tends to be a snit. I think I'm going to hit for Isabella again.
I also am running my first guy rouge whoes kind of snitty but more compassionate. I did start a male mage who was really mean, grouchy and sarcastic but I scrapped him. I might restart him again in time.

Basicly It was like this for my guys:

Female casual but then mean rouge Kattie Hawke: Merril romanced, had a fling with Isabella, had no rivals, killed Anders, had no DLC. sided with Templars, killed Bethany mage ("YOU'RE NOT MY SISTER!" Damn how harsh can I get! lol) and donned anti mage after death of mother. Was my first playthrough so I wasn't expecting much. However I wasn't expecting to end the game acting so mean. lol.
Female mixed warrior Callica Hawke: Romanced Isabella, had a fling with Merril, spared Anders (character believes in repenting), no DLC, sided with mages since my background history for the character is she's a mage soldier herself, spared Bethany mage, fought and Killed Fenris (my character was so pro mage so she always disagreed with everything he said). Wasn't to bad of a playthrough.
Female anti mage mage (Oh the irony) Naturma Dite: Romanced Fenris, sided with Templars, Carver grey warden, Killed Anders, I didn't use sebastion that much but did his DLC stuff for achievements, had a fling with Isabella and Merril too as well as made regular prosthouse visits (my gal da ****). I wanted to keep with the character theme since she's based on a character I made for a story.
Templar then pro mage warrior of justice Vullia Hawke: Romanced Anders (Only to kill him at the end. It was so shakespear and emotional. It was awsome), Had no rivalries other than Fenris did temp side with Merdith but then he sided me afterward which I thought was cool since my friendship was near full with him, did it with Severan without anyone involved, Bethany became a grey warden (took the could care less approach even thought I was concerned for her), I was macking on Sebastion but didn't wind up with him after the death of Anders. :-C. Probably honestly was one of my best playthroughs for story reasons.
mage then pro templar kind of snooty, curious, and kind of evil Karakosh Hawke: Romanced Merril, had a rivalry with Aveline (even though I was macking on her and she kissed my Hawke, was semi hitting on Sebastion, had a fling with Isabella, killed Anders, Bethany became a grey warden (was yelling at Anders to help her but then was glad she was ok). Was an ok playthorugh. The only thing I kind of found interesting was I had Feyrinal become an abonimation to see what would happen. It seemed like it did nothing though.

Gabriel Hawke  male Rogue  -  My Hawk was going for Isabella all the way - something refreshing about her level  honesty. Yet some how  my Hawke stumbled into a nice romance with Merrill and what made me like Isabella more  was that she  didn't go all soap opera on me she was like "Hey look its cool - You hurt her I'mma kill you - now lets have a drink."   As for Merrill I think it arose from  understanding her veiw  point.  She loves her people and she is willing to any lengths to save.  Some was Gabriel Hawke and his  family  he loves his sister  and is willing to do anything to make sure shes safe and away from the Circle.   Yes  my Hawke was going kill to the Templars when the showed up at the  end of the first act to  take Bethenyr away.   Can really fault her from going to those lenghts when my Hawke has killed alot of people for money to keep a roof over  whats left of  his family head.    The the whole Antiven Cluster Frak with Keeper  and the Pride demon.  

The the Dalish come and are all like "Rawr" and  my Hawk is like "look back off I'm REALLY not in the mood at the moment."   Dalish: "No Rawr"...  my Hawk " <_<  fine your funerals."   *stab stab stab. slash.*   My Hawke: "I need a drink, Izzy, Verric lets go."  *looks at Merril* "you  know I love ya  but right now... just ughh." 

Now that I know I can do the whole plot  line again with out having kill the clan I see how it plays out.

Warrior Female: Fenris, Anders
Rouge Male: Isabella.
Rouge Male: Merril. "Didn't touch her after that she's so cute, I felt bad for errr. "Probing her"
I stuck with Isabella and Anders after that.
I can't not have a romance with either fenris or izzy in a play through. I refuse to have them hook up. I'm a c**k block.

So far, only Isabella. I feel bad for Isabella if I don't romance her, and the conclusion of the romance is very sweet after spending a whole decade slowly breaking down her walls.

Merrill's almost too cute to pass up though and she always tempts me away from my fiery pirate lass - if only for a moment. The only thing that keeps me steady is their outfits - I love Isabella's romance outfit but really dislike Merrill's. I'm a huge fan of dat scarf.
