I'll take that as a subtle "no it won't be". If the baddie for the DLC has a unique model, I'd be really impressed. And pleased if I was going to get the DLC (which I might eventually).

Well, the 'chievos already specify a bunch of other enemy types we haven't seen in DA2 so far, especially Genlocks.

This is a day 1 purchase for me, I've beat DA2 three times so far, and to me personally the upsides have greatly outweighed the downsides. With ME2 Bio has showed us that smaller DLC can be good too (it was still a bit uneven, tbh), so I expect this to be a lot better than any of the smaller DAO expansions...

Not to sound like someone with a sense of entitlement or an "unthankful ******"...but I'm not that excited, in fact, I do think that this DLC should be free, as we already paid 60 bucks for a broken and buggy game.
I know, I know, "If you don't want it, don't buy it and stop complaining".
I'll just make sure to read the comments before attempting to buy this stuff...because I wouldn't be surprised if there are some critics who will say that Legacy is the best piece of DLC in ten years.

I'm kinda sure that this won't have much effect anyway and it'll be more like a filler.

What I wonder is why people are so sure that this DLC is about the Hawke family. This could be about the legacy of the wardens or the legacy of the magisters in Kirkwall, which makes more sense that about the Hawke family, considering they may all be dead.

Looking forward to this DLC a lot. This is the first time I've been caught up with the franchise since my friends pushed me into the whole DA-universe, and I'm anxiously awaiting more of the story. Reading the novels in the meantime to keep myself from twitching like an addict in withdrawal and replaying Origins. ^^

I love that I'll be able to play with Carver or Bethany! I missed Beth, who so far is the only sibling I've played with, a lot during act 2 and 3, so this will be a chance to reconnect with her for my Hawke.

I also hope that there will be some build-up in the story for upcoming DLC or expansions, or perhaps even a few more hints about which direction the franchise will be taking from now on.

Is is 100% confirmed that you won't be able to play this as if post-finale?

Pretty much. It's not like they're gonna be able to explain how Hawke reappears and gets everyone back together...

I'm not feeling anything about that DLC at the moment. With the disappointment DA2 was for me, I'll not buy the DLC without a lot more info. I might even pass it by completely a I don't know if DA2 is worth more of my time ... a DLC just can't be THAT good nor change all the things I feel are fundamentally wrong with DA2.
I barely got my money's worth out of DA2 - sometimes I forced myself to keep on playing, sometimes I felt well entertained - and there are other games at the moment ... so I don't really care any longer about DA2.

Although I enjoyed DA2 I'm not really interested in any DLC that isn't post game. I'm interested in what happened after the ending

You can engage in the DLC as soon that you arrive in Kirkwall and from the post save game. Read here

Mike Laidlaw..
But it certainly is story driven. Some...interesting revelations in there, and we've gone to lengths to be sure you can engage with it at any point in DA II after you reach Kirkwall, including from the post-game save (which, like DA:O, takes place "just before" the events of the end game).

I will not be purchasing it, ever. I bought everything for DA:O because it was a good game.

DA2 was not.

The weak DLC (Quests and Characters that should have simply been in the main game [Seb]) and the pitiful money grabs (more...armor?) are actually insulting.

Wait what the hell.....

How can the post game save happen just before the end game? It makes no damn sense.

I sold my copy, not because it was a bad game, i have sold far better games and far worse, if i had my copy, i would not by DLC for this game, DA2 did some good things and a lot of bad things, but most of all it was rushed, and that shows a lack of respect towards the fans and the trade and i cannot support that.

But when is the end-game? Just after the Gallows (year 7) or after the end-game cinematic (year 10) ?

After the end-game cinematic, at the part were all you can do is wonder around your house for no reason.

I don't care much for hawke... But I won't make any calls on the dlc till I see a trailer. My bet is it's going to be a lot of recyled crap and "junk" items; With no iteresting story twists at all.

Hopefully "legacy" will be much better than the "golems of Amgarrak"-crap. That DLC was fully pointless except the f***king unfair battle against the harvester. I cannot tell anyone how difficult it had been to gain the trophy for killing him on the higher difficulty (on the console).
Hopefully that DLC is going to have some story and I'd like to see conversations with and among my squadmate. I suspect that that DLC won't last many hours, probably just one and a half hours, but that would't be grave as long as it's not more expensive than the "recently" released "arrival"-DLC for ME2.
I also assume we won't get another party member but I don't need another one.
But I'm curious about the art design of the dark spawn. I'd really liked to see that the hurlocks might be allowed to look like they did in DAO. From my point of view the monkey-skeleton design doesn't fit to the hurlocks because in contrast to their former scary design, they just look ridiculous nowadays.

Not for me. No DA2 DLC for me, since I was pretty disappointed with the game. Lucky me, I still haven't bought Golems and Witch for Origins, which is where my money will go when I invest again in Dragon Age.

I enjoyed DA2. Here's the problem: The wait. It's okay when you are really excited about something. But they are building this up and having a big show of it at Comic Con. It just feels like they are setting themselves up again for a disappointing reaction. I'm glad they've worked hard on it and given the (tireless) complaints thought. But I tried playing DA2 last night, and I was just kind of over it. I got two (and a half) great playthroughs, but, unlike Origins, I'm not always ready to get going all over again.

I hope it's great and makes me interested in the game again. But there's a part of me that just wants them to put out an expansion pack that has REAL story implications that sets up the third game. Some of the other comments have made some real sense when it comes to...well...cleaning up the third act. I want to be more exicted. I'm just...not.

I'll still play it, I'm sure.
