Lol.

As bad as it sounds I didn't think I would want to get any DLC for DA2 given the game's well documented flaws.

It's a shame but alas how I feel.

And I just feel like Legacy isn't going to be what I am wanting from BW in regards to DA2, and at this time I don't see that changing.
Makes me sad.

How does "defeat an ancient evil in the vimmark mountains" get described as "conductor"? I'd better be able to kill it with music. Or lightning. Or, possibly, a metal conductor's baton that channels lightning. And an orchestra of viola playing darkspawn.

Edit: Also, WTH is "Hawke's key"?

It's it obvious? The main antagonist in the DLC is going to be an evil train conductor that forces you to go down his sinister railroad and be present when NPC's do importain things that you can't have affect on.

That could make for a good tongue-in-cheek Dragon Age 2 spin-off.

Well I see Dragon Age 2 as a "spin-off" or "Filler Arc" to the next game.
BTW any news on when the next dlc will come out?

I might get it if it's LOSTB good but right now it sounds like "BUY OUR NEW $7 DLC TO KILL MONSTERS IN A TOTALLY DIFFERENT LOOKING MOUNTAIN!"

Yay... -_-

From a studio like BioWare i've been expecting stuff with a little bit more effort, but don't get me wrong this Legacy it's sound ordinary. Such a waste...Dragon Age 2 have a lot of potential, too bad everything's dumbed down.

I'm reserving judgment until someone has actually played it. I'm not gonna buy it until it's been reviewed.

If it's important enough for them to show it off specifically at Comic-Con next to other Bioware projects, it's worth keeping an eye on it. I will personally be rushing to play it on the first day of Comic-Con, and every day onwards. Get the most out of it.

Sorry for the double post, but you know what The Conductor reminds me of? His picture/name remind me of a very important figure in the lore of Dragon Age: The Architect. So I guess Legacy may explore the darker side of the possibilities associated with The Architect's plan (although not by his own choice). Maybe...?

I agree, it does look alot like the Architect. and the conductor discription sounds kinda like him too. and being that your OBVIOUSLY going to have darkspawn interaction and your possible grey warden sibling along for the ride........ pretty sure its the architect.

Well the whole more time with your sibling part definitely has me interested at least. I was hoping for some post campaign DLC but we'll be seeing that eventually. I'll keep my eye on Legacy. I think I read in an article that you can do it at any point in the game. The one part that slightly confuses me is how would your sibling follow unless you can steal them from the Circle\\Templars\\Wardens for a little trip. If not then I figure you have to do it in chapter 1before heading to the Deep Roads.

Considering the achievements, perhaps it's a way to somehow connect Hawke's family/past (father?) to the darkspawn. I'd like to know more about what the grey wardens are doing, given their cryptic dialogues in DA2.

About the game itself, don't expect something radically different than DA2. Not feasible for a mere DLC story content. What I think they will improve are: not re-using any areas probably even providing different textures) and improving enemy encounters/waves. I think the latter is what is taking them longer than originally intended - re-scripting encounters, etc...

I don´t think there was a new single scenario in Origins post release DLC, so don´t hold your breath.

I have many of the ill feelings towards DA2 as any DAO fan. However I am also a fanboy and a gaming addict. Of course I'm going to buy this.

I'm one of the people who loved both Origins and DA2 so i'll definitely be getting this. The more DA2 DLC to keep me going til ME3 the better :P

This DLC should be free

Family members, eh? Interesting. I really hope this is true. I also hope Charade is a playable character. I also hope it is set after the ending of DA2. Carver and my FemHawke ended on a bit of an awkward note, him being a Templar and all... Oh! And Anders better be there (he is my main Hawke's LI), and if not, there better be a VERY good explanation for his absence.

I think this is too much to hope for.

I think that most likely that the DLC/Game will simply behave like you havent completed the game yet and killed off Meredith and Orsino.

Nevermind, I just found out that apparently the DLC will be set "just before" the end game of DA2. Ah well. :(

It is totally a trailer for a much more interesting story. Whether DA3 is that story or just more set up remains to be seen.

The developers have stated you play it at ANY point of the game.
