So I'm guessing the architect's form is like the next stage in evolution for darkspawn?

Genlocks burrow to the surface to appear on the screen.

I think this one is an arcane horror, but with armor?

Personally, I am very confused about the story direction taken with Legacy. One of the major complaints about DA2 is you are stuck in a city, with very few areas to explore. A city that USED to be a prison, which is ironic, because you were pretty much confined to it. And you finally get to venture out into the world... and it's to another prison. Personally, what I was hoping for was maybe some filler between Acts 1 and 2 and Acts 2 and 3. There's a lot that seemed to be missing there story wise. Ah well, I'll wait to read the reviews, and will purchase it if it's any good. I did like most of the ME2 DLC content... so maybe there's some hope.

That's what I want to believe as well. It's just that I'm soooooooo worn out with Hawke and his uncompelling saga. I know there are those around here who are going to get this from day one, some of them have higher standards than others and actually take the time to post honest reviews instead of the typical game studio worship that comes common with most gaming forums.
I'll wait to see what they have to say about it.

Hawke has more background than any origin, and they have a voice, they're a much better character than the grey boredom

Having now seen the trailer, It looks pretty awesome. But still not going to pay 10 dollars for it. They should be giving it to everyone for free as an apology. With that sort of good will gesture, I *might* be willing to buy whatever they release after.
And any comments to the tune of "they can't do something like that", I call hogwash. Valve has done it for years. CDProject did it with Enhanced Edition of Witcher, and Witcher 2 DLC.

...Let me guess Bioware, the Hawke family has a long line of Blood Mages?

CDProject had to do it with Witcher 1 because the game was almost unplayable due to the sheer number of bugs and missing and /or unfinishable questswhen it launched. The game became playable and much better with the Enhanced Edition.

But more importantly, will Rogue Hawke make a pair of daggers or will it just be one, because if it's one, Rogue has a poorer reward than the other classes.

Maybe it will just be a bow, regardless of what spec you have.
Anyway... I'm excited for Legacy. As for what the Hawke Legacy actually is... I think that a Grey Warden Hawke (or a Hawke working with the Wardens) locked away the Conductor, with the only key being the Hawke Bloodline. The reason for it being a "terrible secret" or whatever may be because the purpose of the prison, and the exsistance of the Conductor was only known by those directly involved or told to the highest echilon of Grey Wardens at Weishaupt Fortress (I think theyve kept Fiona a secret anyway).
Just my early thoughts. XD

I'm kind of disappointed that they're sticking to Hawk for this DLC. The faster that Bioware moves away from this failed protagonist and his story, the better.

And that's why he/she doesn't feel like your character. With the Grey Warden, you were able to make decisions that would shape his personality not just in what he says, but what he does. In DA2, you're not given those choices. You're just playing through a set course of events that you have no control over.
