I would like a really long quest, around 8-10 hours. less than an expansion but more than a 2-3 hour adventure. that would be nice

I'm sort of looking forward to it, it sounds like it will be a reasonably long DLC (or maybe not?)

I would have liked it to be after act 3 but I am looking forward to it! Need more Dragon Age.

I feel very optimistic about legacy ^_^

Im not sure why, but I'm confident they have noticed all our complains. If the DLC comes without waves, I'll be as happy as one could be.

If it gets good reviews and seems decent value for money I'll buy it, if it doesn't then I won't.

I feel nothing special about it yet since we know next to nothing about it. That it's story focused makes me a little interested though.

Well having account I wasn't very happy with DA:O DLC and I was kinda disappointed by DA2 overall I think I'll wait and see, if it seems good and gets nice reviews from critics and users alike I'll consider buying it else I won't, no more blind trust purchases for me.

I sure hope its content and lenghtwise comparable to Rockstar's DLCs. If we get another 1-2 hour sidetrip like the DLC for DA:O/ME2 then I'm not interested.

Legacy? Great series, really liked the three way war between the Sith, the Republic and the Imperials, and wailed bitter tears as it was cut down in it's prime.

I don't know. Since it's still such a long way off and I'm in my fourth playthrough, it's possible I will be totally sick of it by then. And after I've built four Hawkes, if it's just an added quest, I will probably have to move on to another game.

What's the point of them having noticed our complaints if it's just for one side quest? The meaningful changes will only be made in DA3, if any. To be honest, the only DLC I'd consider buying at this point would be an extended ending which would address the ridiculous cliffhanger.

I seriously hope this meme never goes away, if only so it can serve as a warning to marketing people everywhere.

I have no love for the DA2 team at the moment, but don't you think that's a little bit premature?

I seriously hope it disappears in some deep abyss never to return. Whatever marketing faux-pas was done, it's getting real old, real fast, wasn't really funny to start with and adds nothing whatsoever to the topics at hand.

And don't give me the "we have the right to criticize" old thing, because this isn't criticizing, this is "I love the sound of my own voice", "please pay attention to me", and "look, I am the funny" in a very childish way.

So Legacy... given the name, could it be related to the Amells or Hawkes story? Discovering what happened when Malcolm was in Kirkwall? Or something really special bout Hawke's lineage? I'd like that :)

As long as its some beefy content with unique surrounding with ACTUAL CHOICES THAT MATTER, then I'm all for it. That said, I'll probably still buy it even if its less than awesome. I have zero new games to play at the moment so I've found myself replaying old ones such as DA2. Any new content to frolic in would be wonderful.

Also, why does the SDCC have to be so far away...*sniff*

But in terms of what Legacy means or could mean, it is likely that its either related to Hawke or the Grey Wardens. Or maybe both, could have had an Amell in the Grey Wardens in ages past. That would be a nice little twofer.

Hawk has to go alone to old warden ruins pick up an artifact to give to some stupid elf.
Get some lame op armour that looks the same as any other armour and only Hawk can use it. Some class restricted op weapons that only Hawk can use.
In a game that already has to much op armour and weapons.
With about thirty lines of dialogue spoken by Hawk to Barkspawn who says 'woof', to everything.
Oh yeah level cap increase so you can grind moar, wonderful.

Who's Hawk?

And given that several companion as well as the sibling VO actors tweeted about recording stuff recently....your vitriol doesn't hold.

Mike Laidlaw stated here: http://social.biowar...ex/7697770&lf=8 that the next dlc is called Legacy and can be activated at any point in the story.
Thoughts? I for one would've prefered dlc that takes place after the end of DAII.

I didn't know it was called Legacy. though now I know that it won't attempt to explain what happens to Hawke after the end.

Thoughts? Complete and utter indifference. Wouldn't waste more of my money on it, since I can't even play the game a second time. It would be pointless.

If it does involve Morrigan in yet another badly written mess however, I'll be almost sure I am done with the franchise.

My only fear is that because you can access it at any time it won't be specific to fleshing out any particular point of the existing story. Like Hawke's first year in Kirkwall, or what happens during the 3 year time skips.

But I'll wait until they put out some details.

I was done with Morrigan after Witch Hunt. :bandit:

As for the rest: You keep saying that over & over. Add the obligatory TW2 reference and we have repeated enviro-....er....never mind me.

Ironically, you keep mentionning TW2 nowadays, as well as saying the same over and over, when no one addressed or bothered you.

Judging by the name, it may be something about the enigma of Kirkwall and it being the legacy of Tevinter.

But that might not explain what seems to be an old Warden base. And it being accessible at any time might make that difficult, since IIRC the enigma of Kirwkall codices can't all be found at the very beginning.
