I have no idea what the picture of the "Ancient Evil" is supposed to be, which is good, means they're probably coming with something we haven't seen before.

Kinda just looks like a man with big hair! Im thinking that "Conductor" may mean that hes a mage, maybe with lots of lightning spells. Just a guess though.

I probably won't buy it, considering I didn't buy the Sebastian DLC because I don't feel that Dragon Age II was good enough to spend extra money on (I own all ME1, ME2 and DAO DLCs). I'm happy to be proved wrong, however, but it'd need to be as far away from Kirkwall as physically possible, have a larger story emphasis than combat emphasis and preferably give us some interesting lore or even a couple of DAO cameos.

Maybe one of the 2 remaining 'Forbidden Ones' (considering Xebenkeck and Gaxkang are dead). Or most likely some sort of demon or corrupted being. Not very much impressed tbh (unless the story leading up to him is truly epic, which I somehow seriously doubt).

hehe... my phrasing does kind of sound silly :pinched:, my point is just that the ancient evil will probably have a unique model

This is Bioware's chance to redeem themselves. I can't wait to see what they've done.

The Conductor just made think of The Architect, The Mother, etc. That mixed with the hint that you'll be fighting a lot of darkspawn in this one. I could be totally off the mark of course, since we know nothing, but that was my initial thought.

If you bought Pinnacle Station I have a hard time seeing what you find so awful about DA2 DLC.

No new characters?

Ok.

I don't know, but with all those darkspawn types I bet that the story is about the grey wardens.

I wonder if the darkspawn there are mindless beasts, or disciples of the Architect (or potentially, the Seeker). Hopefully it's the latter, the game has too many mindless idiots as it is.

This DLC sounds interesting. I'll probably wait for reviews before buying though.

I'll wait for reviews...

....but I'm just having a hard time getting interested in anything DA2 related at this stage. So I'd be tempted to say a pretty resounding no.

while I would like to see someone outside of companions who isn't a total blithering idiot, I do not want to see DA2 clownspawn Disciples. If the Disciples return, it better be using DA:O style Disciples.

Anyone notice the achievements are up on the Xbox? Didnt think it would be out for another while. They all talk about the Vimmark Mountains, one for doing main quest with Bethany/Carver, one mentions killing bronto and darkspawn and something about upgrading "Hawke's Key" three times, whatever that means.

So I guess if you access it in Act 1 and do it with your sibling you get an achievement, but if you access it in Act 2 or 3, you don't?

I think it was kind of hinted that there will be an explanation as to why you'll be able to use your sibling in Act 2 or Act 3. Though the hint could be taken in various contexts, so we'll see!
