I suppose there are ways in which it might be interesting. It'd be kind of cool if, say, it turns out to be related to all the weirdness in the Enigma of Kirkwall or something like that--if it ties into the greater setting weirdness instead of just being about your family.

Tenner bet says it uses the giant rock wraith model or a giant pride demon model. Lol.
Oh, I love it when you post! It's always provides some tidbit of info, even in a small way.
Do post more often Luke!

You guys need to have a quarter jar. Everytime somebody post something that's not accurate, toss a quarter in the jar.
When the DLC comes out...Cash in those quarters at your favorite pizza place and have a pizza party.
And you need to post pictures of the party just to rub it in to those who were wrong.

Not quite, we apparently vist a small portion of it during Shepherding Wolves (link)
Are you talking about that beach front, after we go through a tunnel?

Lol.
I'll take that as a subtle "no it won't be". If the baddie for the DLC has a unique model, I'd be really impressed. And pleased if I was going to get the DLC (which I might eventually).

Conductor:
1. A person who directs the performance of an orchestra or choir.
2. A person in charge of a train, streetcar, or other public conveyance, who collects fares and sells tickets
me thinks.... Flemmeth? Architect? Someone new?

So is it a trend to name villains as single word occupations now for DA? The Architect, The Conductor...whats next, The Butcher? The Baker? The Candle Stick Maker?
Doesn't that defeat the point of it being a one word occupation title?

I don't understand why all the DLC for BioWare games has to mess with the timeline. At least ME2 let you pretend it was taking place after the end game, even though it didn't make sense sometimes (Kasumi especially, mission's done, why am I still building team?). I played through the story and experienced the narrative beginning to end, now if I want more content I have to jump into the middle of the timeline and retcon my story?
It also means that I automatically know that this has almost zero impact on the story AT ALL. Whereas with post-game DLC like Witch Hunt and Awakening the story was actually interesting because things could, you know, actually happen.
Maybe BioWare has some numbers that say more people buy the DLC that haven't finished the game than have, but that situation doesn't make sense to me.

From the description it seems to be that way. Though since they're apparently adressing some concerns with this dlc I expect them to show new environments.

Bioware should do themselves, and us all, a favour and amputate this sickly rotting branch of Dragon Age in order to move on to produce a new game for the franchise. One can only hope they will have taken into account the various and varied complaints which arose in the wake of DAII, and taken measures to correct them.

There is no information about the price, the content and playable length of the DLC. And guess what? Already people ranting and whining about the upcoming DLC.
So tell me, does someone has more Information about the DLC? Or how comes that a lot of people "know" that it will be a "bad" DLC?
I say: Read upcoming news without prejudice. Wait until its available. If you are unsure about the DLC, read critics and user reviews before you buy it (that is what i will do).

I am sick to death of the pre-ending DLC. Who the hell buys the DLC before finishing the game? Why waste money on new content when there's still content left?

This. I would NEVER consider Overlord and LotSB before the Suicide Mission in my canon Shepard's - the timeline was established when I originally played those characters. How can anything very important happen in Legacy if it leaves the final (hell, even the Deep Roads) parts of the vanilla game unchanged. And if it has character implications for Hawke, why was I not able to RP that in my original playthroughs? I hope I'm wrong because I love DA2 and my Hawke and am excited about new content.
Is is 100% confirmed that you won't be able to play this as if post-finale?
