I guess a derelict Reaper isn't a real one.  Considering it was basically still active.

Like the reaper is changing the landscape of it's "insides" as you are trying to get to the core or w/e the important thinbg is? That could be cool.

Why bother sending minions? Switch off artificial gravity and depressurise. Everything gets sucked out into the void of space.
