Ah, the Reapers are misunderstood. They are saving the galaxy by wiping out advanced civilization and preventing them from destroying the galaxy one star at a time via overuse of eezo/mass effect technology.
They are saving the galaxy from ourselves. Treehuggers gone nuts-on a galactic scale.
Anyone Actually Like The Reapers?

In their own minds yes I believe they are saving the galaxy and I really hope that the "Luke I am your Father" thing turns these awesome enemies into something we would never suspect.
The Reapers back story is still really vague and I hope that in ME3 we find out....
How they can into being
The real reason for the 50,000 year cycle
How Shepard's destiny is connected to the Reaper's
etc....
And I loved Harbinger... yes his one liners were not that good, but the voice acting was decent and those annoying one liners helped you understand their motivations, reasons, and history.
Sov was perfect for the first game, but I think Harby was indeed perfect for the 2nd

They should have multiple types of Reapers speaking in ME3, all with different voices that would be ear candy for all of us.

Like, that's odd question. I like them as enemy?

The main issue with Harbringer's one-liners is that the Collecter's were faceless mooks. Turning Stormtrooper #328 into your puppet isn't that scary. Now if he suddenly hijacked Ashley or Kiadon when you meet them? Big difference.

I think they are perhaps the most fascinating enemy I have seen in a video game.

They are the most badass and cool villains ever made. They are up there with Albert Wesker!

I like them as a villian, and Sovereign was great.

Bleh... The reapers were more of a threat when they were simply machines who hate organics and want to destroy them because they were superiors, very dramatic, very mysterious universe. Now they are cyborgs who need of organics to reproduce themselves?

If I had to be a member of any race/species/whatever in Mass Effect, I'd be a Reaper.

I liked Sovereign, Harby is just too cheesy.

I'd like them defeated.

Harbinger is trying too hard to be evil where Sovereign appeared natural, cold, calculated and as if it was simply following the logical course of his programming. I hope they fix Harbinger so that it appears more intimidating like the early Borg in The Next Generation season 2, 3 and early 4 before they began to be overused and made to seem "human".
