Morrigan knows that Flemeth is evil and steals children and is kind immortal, knowing that what she does isn't very good why does she still want to raise some god child and go through with Flemeth's plans? it doesn't really make any sense and it's something I always think about when I play the game
something that doesn't make any sense with Morrigan and dark ritual

Morrigan simply believes that if you kill Flemeth, it will give her enough time to raise the OGB and thus when Flemeth does come back, the OGB will be strong enough to protect both itself and Morrigan.
If you have the Witch Hunt expansion, you'll see why morrigan thinks she will have enough time for this

I never bought the Witch Hunt expansion, it still sounds like a bad idea on her part

Morrigan has you "kill" Flemeth as a means of self defense, as she doesn't want to become possessed by her. After defeating this version of Flemeth, Morrigan can then study her true grimoire and thus protect herself in the future.
She was sent to travel with the wardens for the main purpose of having a child with one of them. Morrigan seems to have a plan for everything and isn't just doing what Flemeth wanted her to do. She wants some of that power for herself, as well as having a means to combat Flemeth in the future.
Unfortunately, Witch Hunt left as many questions unanswered as well as those that were, and created more questions. Hopefully Witch Hunt wasn't the last that we get to see/hear of Morrigan and her child as there's so much potential there.

What Morrigan says about Flemeth intending to possess her may be a lie. There are several hints that she's not being honest with you on that point, but nothing is said outright. It's possible she just wanted Flemeth's spellbook, or she wanted the OGB for herself rather than her mother's unspecified purposes.
Either way, I think she's in over her head with the Dark Ritual and does know as much as she pretends/thinks she does. She says in Witch Hunt she was wrong about her assumptions of what Flemeth was...what else is she wrong about?

Only time will tell regarding Morrigan and her son...
It will be a crime if Morrigan doesn't make any future appearances in the series, and it would be interesting to see what a human with the soul of an old god would be like, especially once they come of age and have all that power at their disposal. I could see the child turning on Morrigan and going on some power-driven quest that leads to him being a main villain in one of the games.
