so i got the downloaded version from amazon cuz it was cheap. which of course, initially got the whole "installing failed, data error occured" message so then i tweaked around to see what files were corrupt and replaced them new ones
then it finallly after many attempts installed, but now. when i play, the actual gameplay is all messed up/frozen and the 'gameplay' cutscenes like when miranda's talking is TOTALLY messed up, like everythings black, the graphics streak HUGELY, and you really cant tell whats going on. ive tried soooo many things but i can NOT figure out what the heck is going. my mass effect 1 installed and worked PERFECTLY on my current desktop (same one im having this problem on, windows 7 64bit) and trust me its a beast machine so no probs running max settings at 1920x1080
whaatt shall i do?cuz this is seriously pissing me off
but also, when u actually get control of shepard for the first time, even though i kno im jjust walking down a hall...even though everythings blacked out, i can TELL that im not moving.
also, everytime theres an actual cutscene cutscene where you cant skip, its fine.
in game/cutscenes are REALLy messed up/streaking and colors black

one more time for emphasis, if you don't post the specs and info asked for in the given thread we have ZERO chance of helping you on anything other than a wild **** guess(WAG). If you want us to start wagging then say so, but most here have better things to do, so if you want help use the thread Bogs gave you and I regave you and post the required info. But if I had to guess it would be an driver issue.....or not.....so more info, or go bug EA.com support.
