If that's the case I can only suggest to keep being a thorn in the side at the support desk until they support your case. In the mean time, keep trying to locate your manuals if possible and do make a backup of your keys once you find them again. I have several written papers as well as saved files of my keys. We have to protect ourselves you know, eh?

The manual did not have the key. The gave us a stupid small card with the cd key on it. Manuals are hard enough to keep track of but those cards are just impossible not to loose. Cheap idiots working at EA.
You're kidding me? I must have been lucky to have the keys printed right on the manual. I really wish I had a better answer to help you all out besides keep looking for your printed keys.

What is going on? I lost my system that could play the games, but when I get a new computer I'd like to have my CD keys. I too have tried contacting bioware. Am I going to lose one of my all time favorite games?

Does nobody keep their documentation that comes with games anymore?
I could suggest that the reason many people seem to lack their documentation is because once the requirement for playing with the disc was removed their physical disc + docs somehow passed on to someone else, possibly through trade or eBay, and they have continued playing themselves. Of course I know that gamers are notoriously honest and respectful of copyright law and the rights of authors to be paid for their work, so I would never suggest such a thing.
I registered my keys as well. But I certainly still have all of my materials for all of my games. I am far more concerned about the loss of knowledge in the old forums

I've owned NWN1 and NWN2 for around 10 years combined, so no, I didn't pass them on. However I've moved several times since then and the CD keys are now lost. Had I known that Bioware would lose the keys, I probably would have kept better track of them.
Really hope Bioware does something to fix this mess.

Why would you depend on a site to keep your keys safe? I have backup copies as well as the original keys. When they, Bioware, said that they were locking and would get rid of the old forums. Why didn't so many make backups of there keys then? Again I'm not picking on anybody here but unless you were really not playing NWN & NWN2 the chances of saving your keys was there.
I think at some point they may put the keys back up but nobody knows for sure and when if ever that will happen. Now this sucks for those who really do need their keys now. The only thing to do is to keep emailing Bioware or Atari. At some point an answer will come. May not be the one you're looking for though.

I think they just got rid of the old user areas as all the old links just direct you to the bioware home page, or if you try to login, you're redirected here. I never received any email about a hack.
