its all over the place but has shepard ever said a word abou th the program?
Has anderson ever spoken about graduating from the program in their talks?

kai leng is supposedly n7 as well, i hope this gets briught up in game through dialogue of shepard's past

there were alot of missed opportuities for shepard and anderson to reminise about the old days as well before eden prime to add to the backstory

We need N7 Hell Week.

Maybe a flash back to a moon on Jupiter or Saturn.

But with Anderson and Shepard, their training might have been a tad different in some respects, because of when both of them would have received the training in the first place.

And Anderson could make some comments since (I hope) he will be temp companion and have some fun dialogue with Shep similar to the great dialogue in LotSB.

N7 is not a program. It is a career designation and proficiency rank.

N = Letter designation for Special Forces
7 = Highest experience rating based on performance and campaign.

So, basically, Shepard's a super elite Special Forces agent in the Alliance military.

I was thinking about that convo with Ash in ME1, but the FlyingWalrus is right, I forgot about that with N7.

Edit: but maybe there could be some type of training program available to earn the N "mvc" and then earn the grade of level 7, as a special forces agent.

The Navy SEALS have a formal training program, so maybe something similar exists in the Alliance military? Definitely needs to be explored with having access to Ash, Leng and Vega for new convo opportunities. And the wiki is thin with info on N7.

To attain N7 proficiency marines have to graduate the N7 program

Edit: I'd imagine that the program is an analogue to the training program that SF soldiers in units such as the SAS undergo, after they have passed the selection course and been accepted as a candidate into the unit.

Its been mentioned that there will be other N7 operatives in me3, i expect one will be a new squadmember and they will have gone through the program at the same time as shepard, it'll let us learn about shepard and the program at the same time

We'll be visiting Luna. Hopefully some N7 vs N7 action may occure there.
Aside of that, ME3 will be the first modern Bioware game to not feature a death at the beggining. You may see Anderson left behind while escaping the Earth, yes, but in the most critical moment of the game he will appear behind Kai Leng's back and save Shepard's sorry ass. As that happens, the same music that played when the crew was getting off the Normandy and heading towards the Collector base, and when Liara became the new Shadow Broker, will play.

I think I've seen it somewhere. Probably on Mass Effect wikia, though, not sure if that was a fact or a rumour.
