Shotguns are being re-worked so I imagine Vanguard will be strongly affected by whatever changes they make. So that makes saying whether they need changes hard for me.

I think Adepts don't need huge tweaking, but should get Stasis as a baseline ability. I think that would show off their biotics even more, and make them more playable on the harder settings. Shockwave needs re-working, as it's virtually useless on harder settings - there's never really a time when it would be a better choice than other abilities. Replace it with some kind of weak-damage, moderate range, long cooldown cone knockdown that works even through shields, maybe? Also, add in the famous biotic melee. In the "lore" (ugh) of ME, i.e. the codex, stories, cutscenes, things NPCs tell you and so on, biotics are DEADLY in melee, because they have super-strength kicks and punches (effectively) due to the biotics. Yet in actuality they're just the same as every other class. So make this at least a aesthetic thing - make the melee attacks done by a biotic glow and not use the omni-blade but just biotic-enhanced kicks and punches. I'd suggest they should do more damage than most classes, too (Adepts particularly), perhaps with that damage enhanced by some sort of class choice. Vanguards too, probably.

Infiltrators need stealth melee auto-kills on weaker enemy types when cloaked, but that's obvious. They don't need huge re-working, though the sniper rifles for all classes need looking at, and more SMG options would be nice - as would a reason for Infiltrators to use SMGs when ARs and Shotguns will become available.

Engineers need serious work. When one of the perks of a class is that it has a lower mineral cost on upgrades, you know you're in trouble. We know they're getting turrets at least, and that could make big difference. Some sort of "demolition charge" ability would be nice.

Sentinels need both improving and nerfing. The current Sentinel shield is too powerful, but Sentinel powers are generally weak and dull. I'd suggest giving them at least one cool, unique, active power and making the other Sentinel powers upgrade differently for a Sentinel to other classes than possess them (due to his whole biotic/engineer fusion deal).

Soldiers need a good looking at, but won't get it. Adrenaline Rush is too powerful, and on too short a cooldown. It's almost ridiculous. I'd suggest weakening it, but making it last longer and have a longer cooldown, to make it more tactical and less of an IWIN button. Grenades should make up for that, hopefully.

All "ammo" powers take too long to turn on (yes, even that short time!), and are too fiddly to use. They should have separate controls from the other powers (like ammo types in other games), and it should be explicit that they need to be turned on/off for each weapon (and preferably give us an "on for all" button - it's pretty boring to go through and flick every weapon to Disruptor when you're fighting Geth)

I think the engineer just needs a little more power; I really missed sabotage in ME2, mainly for the weapon overheat period, so I'm hoping that the weapon stun effect is added to maybe combat drone or overload. Also a passive that gives engineers a little more shields would be nice *coughelectronicscough*.
