The squadmates, I mean.  Sure, I like some more than others, but there's not a single one I hate or am completely bored by.  Yeah, I started out completely turned off by certain characters, but after spending so much time getting to know them, I find it hard not to get attached.  I also think each one is useful in his or her own way on the battlefield, even if some of them aren't as powerful or versatile as others.

Anybody else feel this way?

SUBFORUM RELEVANCE: I look forward to seeing everyone again in ME3 and wonder if I'll wind up loving everyone again the third time around.

I feel exactly the same way. I'd be quite the sad panda if I don't get to see every single one of them come back, even just for a cameo.

I like everybody too, and I hope to see everybody again in ME3. They may not all be interesting, but I find them all worthy squadmates and characters, and I greatly enjoy learning about them.

Er... well, I do for Mass Effect 2! It was the first time ever where I liked my entire crew and squad. It even beat out Delta Squad from Gears of War for me.

I agree with this. Jacob is simultaneously the worst and BEST romance in the game and its great that he can pull that off and I think he's a better character than people give him credit for. He's memorable if nothing else.

Though as a FemShep your mileage may understandably vary.

I think miranda says she loves shepard too, but its overshadowed by shepard immediately making his rape face

I have successfully (some might say miraculously) avoiding romancing Jacob in all my playthroughs.

I really like him as a squaddie. Useful in battle, and a total bro. I enjoyed his loyalty mission as well, and I find him to be rather insightful. He's a great Everyman on board, and I like his cutscenes. Even when he's being a dick to Thane.

Indeed.  I pretty much think Garrus is a hotheaded, homicidal idiot, but he's one of my favorite characters.  Go figure.

When a character has more flaws than virtues and values that clash directly with yours but you still love 'em, you know the writers, programmers, and actors did a hell of a job.

I think I might of prefered some stereotypical gangbanger over that. atleast then we have something to call Bioware racist over. Jacob is just.. vanilla.

Yep.  I can sympathize with her a little and laughed my ass off when she hit on Grunt.  Additionally, she's a serial killer that sucks your soul out with her braingina, which is disturbing, badass, and hilarious all at once.
