How can you know? He left one journal entry. Considering the Blue Suns sealed him up at all he must have had the plague. Regardless, that is why he was sealed up. Not to extort money.

Two actually.

First he claims the Blue Suns sealed him in there to extort money, then the second one he says about feeling hungry and that it feels like his stomach is pretty much digesting itself. Therefore, it stands to reason that he died of either hunger or dehydration.

Am I the only one who stopped reading once off-topic character debating started...?

Heh, I don't mind a good debate, but this is like arguing what movie extras are doing behind the main character.

Back on-topic: A while ago, I got tangled in a YouTube comment fight over Tali being a weak character and too popular. This guy says something along the lines of, "they can't take a strong-willed woman, so they go for Tali."

And I was confused. Becaus I like Ashley as much as I like Tali. And Ash is as strong as they come.

Yes, I never knew there was a second entry since there was no prompt. Regardless, as I said, that doesn't really change the issue. The debate wasn't whether he had the plague or not but whether he was sealed in there to extort money. He wasn't. The Blue Suns were doing that to contain the plague. Sealing people up stops carriers from spreading it and also denies the virus new hosts.

Saph, it still stands that they were killing innocent people when they could have taken them to get help at the clinic, which they would rather attack because Mordin was offering humans safe shelter.

Anyway, I asked you repeatedly not to continue the debate. Hopefully, the block works.

EDIT: And now I feel like a douche.

There was actually a thread that showed up for him on the main page, but I think it got buried. Maybe they just moved it here and it got buried anyway, heh.

Nah, @SS-kicking, shotgun-toting, I-need-to-finish-my-mission-Shepard-so-you'll-have-to-wait Tali isn't strong-willed in the least... Image IPB

The same clinic that gunned down a Blue Sun's squad? Not likely.

Personally I've never understood why it has to come to comments like that. Everyone has different tastes.

Of course not, she's a wilting flower in need of propping up, dontchaknow. /sarcasm.

Seriously, I prefer Tali (over the other LIs, at least) because *I* feel she has better character development. Others are entitled to their opinion over their favourite character and I'm not going to bash them for it.

It was all business.
Blue Suns wanted to save themselves so they attacked anyone to contain the plague and not be infected with it.
This was also a good time to go people apartments and loot credits and salvage anything, which can be sold at black market. They knew that noone could come here and cure the plague, so they took the oppurtunity. They didnt expect Shepard tho.

Then you're a troll Troodon, you MUST hate someone, and try to demonstrate that you do it for the right reasons! [/sarcasm]

I never saw any Blue Suns looting. Stopping the plague was in their interest though because if the plague kills everyone then nobody is going to pay them to protect them anymore. They're also losing turf as a result of the plague weakening them.

All business indeed. Not evil for evil's sake.

The squadmates, I mean.  Sure, I like some more than others, but there's not a single one I hate or am completely bored by.  Yeah, I started out completely turned off by certain characters, but after spending so much time getting to know them, I find it hard not to get attached.  I also think each one is useful in his or her own way on the battlefield, even if some of them aren't as powerful or versatile as others.

Anybody else feel this way?

SUBFORUM RELEVANCE: I look forward to seeing everyone again in ME3 and wonder if I'll wind up loving everyone again the third time around.

Agreed Cheez, agreed...
I have yet to find a character I dislike, in one way or the other I love them all... :)
I'm happy to see I'm not the only one, generally people always complain about this character or that character...

I don't like all of the characters, but I would be interested in seeing all of them in ME3, even Morinth, if she lives. I think even characters I don't SQUEE over can be written well and make the game more interesting. Personally, I don't really feel like it's a big deal. We all have characters we can identify with or admire more than others. As long as they're entertaining, even if I don't feel sympathetic towards them, it's all good.

Thank you Cheez! I COMPLETELY agree with you. With all the divided opinions on these boards I wasn't sure anyone shared my view. It's good to see I'm not alone. :)

Yes! YES *_*

(and that's why I think I am the only one who is still sad about Virmire, since I would like to have Kaidan and Ash at the same time in the Normandy)

Nope! I'm just gonna come right out and say it. In my own perspective and opinion, certain characters purely suck! I don't hate any of them, but I can say there are those who I dislike.
