Hey

I am considering getting an xbox but I have played the last two Mass Effect games on pc. So my question boils down if I can import my pc save game to a xbox 360 version of Mass Effect 3 when it arrives?

I tried searching a bit around in the Mass Effect 2 section but couldn't find anything.

Thanks for help in advance!

Nope, you cant transfer from PC to Xbox (or vice versa).

Why not just start the game fresh on Xbox and set up your canon run through for ME3?

*edit, there is a Gibbed editor for ME2 that lets you customize your ME "import" save (choices and such), but thats about it.

You can transfer saves. Use modified Gibbed editor to open .pcsav and save it as .xbsav

There isn't an official way to transfer saves between different different platforms, for that would require Microsoft/Sony to have a device of some sort that would work in both your PC and Console(s).

Right now there are a couple of thinks you can do for there is an unofficial way of modding your save file, but I am not sure how to do that or what kind of consequences there might be; buy the games for the 360 and start a new campaign; or buy ME3 for the PC.

Thanks for the tips!

I will try look into that modified Gibbed editor. Well while I am all for supporting Bioware in their game production (all the way since Baldur's Gate II) I don't really want to buy all the Mass Effect titles again just to get them for xbox. The kinect stuff mentioned in the xbox version got me interested but if its impossible to transfer I'll probably just get the PC-version.
