Hi, I just built myself a brand new PC and re-installed Dragon Age Origins, Awakening, and DAO 2. I also reinstalled most of my Downlownloadable content I previously purchased and installed in my old PC. Everytime I try to play DAO or Awakening, the downloadable content page indicate that they were installed but is showing unauthorized account. I log out and log in again from the game start page. I was successful in logging in but still preventing me from accessing said content and is showing unauthorised account. From the Start page of DOA I try accessing my Online account. The Boiware social network appears and log me in. It showed me the downloadable content registered to me but still would not let me play them in the game. It keeps on showing me unauthorised account.
I only have one account with EA, and use the same password to log-in in DOA in both my old and new PC. I couldn't undertand why it is showing unauthorised account. I am using the same DOA game that I use in my old PC, the game successfully logs me in to my online account. The game downloaded and installed all my downloadable content but shows that my account is unauthorized and prevents me from playing them. Can anyone help me please?
Thanks!

Have you tried any of the fixes in the FAQ pinned to the top of the forum?

I have. I'm tempted to copy the DAO in my old PC to my new one. The DAO in my old PC doesn't show unauthorized in any of my DLC's and I'm logged in the same account.

This is almost like MS Windows OEM restrictions. Do you think DAO is tied up with the 1st hardware it's installed/played on?

It isn't tied to your hardware. I have installed on two different machines with no issues. There have been some sporadic authorization and login issues across ME/DAO/DA2 over the last several weeks, so you may have simply run into that. BW knows about the problems and have been trying to track them down, but so far they haven't found the problem.
What, specifically, have you tried and what were the results? It could help others pinpoint what your specific issue is. Have you tried logging into the game from your old system since this happened and if so, does your DLC remain authorized? Edited to add: What version of the game are you playing (disc/Steam/EADM)?
If you can get all of the DLC you have on your original install downloaded and installed (including any mods installed as dazips), you can try replacing your new Settings folder with a copy of the old one that has the DLC authorized. (BACK UP THE CURRENT ONE FIRST!). This has worked for some people who have had their DLC suddenly de-authorize. Authorization state is listed in several of those files (not just the addins.xml as listed elsewhere. Setting DLC to not require authorization there will simply cause more problems). If it works, play without logging in to the DA servers until this issue is resolved.
