As we all know Mass Effect 3 will end commander Shepard's story ark and most likely the story of all characters we know and love in the trilogy. Mass Effect 3 will also conclude any relationship your shepard had with a squad mate. So this will be the last chance we'll get to have fun with these amazing characters. They might have flows but they are most likely the best characters ever made for a video game.
Thinking of this makes me happy about getting an ending to thi wonderful story and a bit sad that this is the last time we get to see them.
I don't blame anyone for wanting to see any character from last 2 games return and I don't blame Bioware for making it happen. Call it fan service or what ever, I see it as a good thing.
This thread is to talk about what you want to see by the end of ME3 regarding the characters or the story. Just don't start trolling or going of topic because it just got my last thread locked down! :police:

Hmmm, for me I want to see variety. I have six very different Shepards, and I want the personal elements of the games to play out very differently for each of them. Naturally many of the events in the games aren't influenced by Shepard, but anything that should be influenced by Shepard ought to be programmed so that the scenes play out differently in those circumstances. I know that's probably stating the obvious, but I just don't want it to be a bunch of emails and a bunch of one-line dialog differences.

For instance, I have two saves that are my "polar opposites". I have an all-Paragon Vanguard who saved everyone who could be saved in both games, and an all-Renegade Soldier who killed everyone who could be killed in both games. I want those two playthroughs to feel VERY different from one another. Some big differences, and lots of smaller differences. To me the strengths of the Mass Effect games is their replayability and the ability to connect with a customizable protagonist. The final game should play to those strengths even more than the first two games.

Varity is always a good thing. It will increase the games replay value!

i am starting with 5 Shepards: 4 are entirely loyal to their LI. My Ash loyalist will kill the rachni and let the council die, at ash's advice. Miranda's Shep will take her side against Jack and will destroy the colllector base. Liara will save the Rachni and yada yada. Kelly will...well she'll be Kelly. and my Cannon Shep will be my personnal decisions. i want to see huge differences between these stories. I dont want the messages from the people i saved or talked to in ME1 and 2. I want to see the aftermath of my hard work killing random mercs, rachni and saving cities from disaster. My conversation options from the first 2 games should be brought back, for instance my convincing Ash to be less Xenophobic. or have Saren be acknowledged for having one last heroic stand against the reapers by giving his last full measure of devotion with his suicide in the citadel. also i want a wide range of endings for these sheps since they have taken such incredibly different journeys.
