Given how Shepard is on trial during the begining of the game. How cool would it be if we are not only hunted by reapers/cerberus but also by fellow spectres? Assuming that the council still have their heads up their bums about the whole reaper thing. They might want to bring Shep down for the whole killing a butt load of batarians during the Arrival DLC. Whatcha thinkin'?

yeah but even they couldn't say we are making up the invasion of earth. They may send spectres to find out what shepard knows if he/she chooses not to cooperate with the council

Considering that the Reapers attack Earth in the beginning of the game it's unlikely that the Council thinks Shepard is crazy.vaylander wrote...

the whole thing with a trial seems kind of fail actually ...Shepard was a Spectre meaning "above the law, only answering to the Concil , noone else can acuse him of nothing" etc. ...now is on trial ..pretty stupid plot if you ask me (if it's just a trial but maybe is not an actual trial)

The Batarians have kind of been jerks to the Council races in the past. If they won't get involved in the "purely human affair" of hundreds of thousands of colonists being abducted by the Collectors, I kind of doubt that they'll get involved in the blowing up of hundreds of thousands of Batarians. If anything, they'd be more interested in the destruction of a mass relay, but I don't think they'll be throwing Spectres at Shepard over that. There might be an investigation, at most, and that won't come in the form of a troop of elite agents sent to get slaughtered by the most famous (and arguably the most dangerous) human in the galaxy.
