ikep getting error in west habour lafter the festival when the attack begins i run around a bit kill stuff etc. i get an assertion error and the game closes and my save file corupts itself ive tried restarting 4 times now, do i need to reinstall or is there a fix to this? i have completely updated patches and everything, been dying to play this game just bought a new video card so i could finally play it and no its unplayable due to errors

my system is as follows

my OS is windows vista home edition
got a 3.5GHz processor
2.5G of ram
Nvidia GeForce 210 video card ( 512) comes to 1.5+ with other vid card

i this is more than enough to run the game via my research

Aye, clean up the computer & re-install. <--suggestion


Edit, another possibility is that the two vidcards aren't playing happy w/ each other

That G 210 has only 33% of the performance offered by the minimum Geforce graphics card.

There are onboard chips better than that terrible excuse for a video card, and all of the AMD Fusion APUs have better performance.

It's barely "good enough" for the solitaire game from Windows95.

It's "good enough" I suppose - but depends on what you define as good. It will play the game, albeit not at a particularly high framerate. Hyperbole aside (Gorath Alpha, I'm staring straight at you), it is a slow GPU. There are substantially better alternatives for under $100...
