Sorry if this has been pointed out before, I've been in a 3 month vacation.

This isn't as much a theory as much as it is something I'd see coming miles away. I've just seen it be done too many times. A random character is shown more then once throught a story (books, games, tv, movies, ect.) and in the end it turns out that character was the protagonist itself, the antagonist or the key to it all.

My guess is that the kid is a projection of Shepard as a child produced by the Reapers.

Random Question 1: But what if my character is chinese and the kid is caucasian?

Answer: In character creation, the race and skin color aren't sliders, but toggles in the form of sliders (duh).


Random Question 2: What is the point of this?

Answer: How should I know!


Random Question 3: What if it's just a random event?

Answer: It isn't, as it's something that happens in a main mission and seems too vague not to be something.
