Another thing I thought of is how the 'Tatics' for your companions is working... for example; early on after recruiting a companion I will add a tatic that dictates - if health is equal to or below 50% - use item = health potion...

This doesn't seem to do anything... my companions will still not drink a potion even after this tatic has been added... also this applies to talents and abilities as well, such as adding a tatic for Anders to cast 'Haste', yet even after adding the tactic, he does not cast the spell... he can still be commanded to cast it through the radial menu, but the tatics for characters seems to be problematic at best...

I have wanted to create my own custom set of tatics for each character, however if adding only 1 command seems not to work, I feel it's a waste of time to create custom tatics if none of them fire like they should... serious bummer... sigh..

It may be a ps3 only bug,  It's pretty much a consistant thing as I can count on it regularly in several encounters.  Blackpowder Promises last room with the Lt. and Sarrabas, the 2 ranged qunari on the lower level near the rear exit will ALWAYS freeze as if stopped in time.  Hitting them will sometimes free them.  The post above yours is talking about the same issue as well from a ps3.  I will move it to the ps3 section.

My ps3 was bought in January of this year.

edit: Could you do me a favor and put your take on the sustaind ability stamina bug into the OP.  I'm still not sure how to word it clearly for the dev's sake.

- Status icons linger over corpses if they didn't explode.

I've occasionally seen status icons lingering too, but I haven't tried confirming if bomb was or wasn't the indirect cause of it. In my case, it was almost always a STAGGERED icon lthat ingered over a corpse.

Platform: PS3 running DA2 ver 1.02

Additional info (if it helps with debugging): My 2H hawke (a vangard beserker reaver variant) was tweaked to have a high dex (and a crit-boosting rune), resulting in a high Critical Chance % and a high rate of STAGGERED generation.  Ditto for Avaline, who used the PUMMEL talent with a fairly high dex, to generate same.  The following talents were all actively in employ to exploit the resulting STAGGEREDs, and therefore may play a possible role: Corrosive Walking Bomb, Virulent Walking Bomb (both directly and indirectly), Paralyzing Prison, Strikes Twice, and Backlash. 

Obviously there's a logic path somewhere that's either failing to fully remove all active status effects from an enemy when it gets killed, or possibly allowing a race condition between said enemy getting killed (directly or indirectly) while also receiving a healing or regen effect or perhaps another {different} status effect.

To reply ... It's hard to tell, because I finished playing over a week ago, and in the interests of accurate disclosure and debugging I really wasn't paying close enough attention to that particular glitch at the time to say definitively.  I wasn't in a debug community at the time, and as a result I got out of the habit of carefully scrutinizing such incidents.  Now that I am, I'll pay MUCH closer attention on my next (3rd) playthough.

Ah, this was not what I was referring to then. It's actually be around since launch, I'm surprised noone has found it yet :devil:

We're doing some tests to establish specifics for that stamina issue (and all the other ones that we don't have) as we can't fix anything until we know exactly how to reproduce it otherwise we won't know if we've actually fixed it. BUT, when I get some concrete info I'll be sure to update everyone, as I often do ;).

Thanks for taking control of this thread though, much appreciated!

Ah, this was not what I was referring to then. It's actually be around since launch, I'm surprised noone has found it yet :devil:

Edit: These were the tactics I was using (from AreleX's updated 1.02/1.03 Berserker Vanguard build). Behavior was set to aggressive for all.

Self: Mana or stamina <10% - Use: Lyrium Potion
Hawke: Health <10% - Heal
Varric (or Sebastian/Isabela): Health <25% - Heal

I also play xbox360 and I had that happen as well on my first playthrough.I rememeber this very well since I was frequently yelling at Anders saying "Wth, you just gonna watch, stupid?" or "Quit being lazy and do your job!".

I started to play a second but then got sidetracked with another game.
And yes, I noticed it with Anders specifically more than anyone. I kept having to jump to him and make him fight.
Multiple times I even jump to him directed him to do something and a few others then noticed he didn't even do it, and just stood there. Come to think of it, I made him use haste a lot and if I am not mistaken, that's usually when I noticed it. Not all the time, but occasionally.
I am not sure if I saw it on my second playthrough. If I did, I don't remember.

I'll go back and check the tactics to my first playthrough and see if I notice it on my second as well. When I get it, I'll post.

I noticed this as well. Even though I set them to drink a health potion, I will find that they don't drink it and a few times they ended up dying so I just had to keep an eye on them, mainly Anders, to make him drink one if he can through the radial menu.
Now and then with Haste as well. Come to think of it, I pretty much babysat them when it came to haste and potion drinking for health.

This I noticed on my second playthrough since I am a rogue.
I, too, thought it was funny. It didn't bother me so I just pretty much ignored it and it happened only for a bit.
I don't remember it staying that way to look like a hunchback.

When too many attack sound files are firing it causes the audio in the game to become distorted and starts to crackle. (ie haste and magic and dual wielding attacks firing too fast and being unable to handle it)
Random freezing upon moving the camera during battle or upon first entering an environment.

Graphical/Text
Hawke during the deep roads upon coming across Sandal will become invisible except the weapon Hawke is carrying. (everytime)
Aveline when using the investigation options during Wesley corruption/death scene will also disappear, except for her weapon and shield. (everytime)
Hawke's Subtitles when finishing a delivery quests will not meet what is actually said.
The door to Aveline's captain room appears open upon finishing "The way it should be" but you have to click the door open again to initiate the post quest dialogue and to allow you companions to leave the room.

The door to Aveline's captain room appears open upon finishing "The way it should be" but you have to click the do open again to initiate the post quest dialogue and to allow you companions to leave the room.

I can confirm the companions being stuck in the captians room bug.  I don't get the door part of it though, the door is ussually not even there when I finish that quest, leaving the room forces the final dialogue as well.

i have my sound glitch out terribly in the lowtown portion of the Qunari siege, the game also lags a fair amount, due to all the **** going on in the map, probably.

The disappearing is very minor and only last for a second or two. and yes, I've reinstalled and repatched, no change. And for the door, it's open upon finishing the quest with the companions stuck in room, but when you walk up to the door, the open/close door icon pops up and you when you open the door "more" it disappears into the wall, and it allows your companions to leave the room and initiate the conversation about her becoming captain of the guard.

Also, I have a save prior to the deep roads on my mage run, Ill double check the disapearing.

Oh, I thought of another graphical bug, During "The Last Straw" When Carver and Bethany rejoin you if you didn't make both a warden. Meaning Carver during the fight with Meredith and Bethany during the fight with Orsino (at least these two) their hair with both turn glowing white and kind of do a small "rainbow effect" Reloading before the fight will fix the hair.

Edit: note. During Carver's, siding with the mages. and during Bethany's siding with Templars. (The only ones I've tried since the last update)

Some very specific ones are not properly hooked up to the appropriate dominant mood modifier. I believe this is for all platforms.

Just wanted to add this. My son told me that when he played as a warrior, he was checking out his capabilities with the sword and shield and he momentarily had his shield arm stuck into his abdomen and his sword arm impaled into his skull before an upcoming battle. He said he was shield bashing through his waist and swiping his sword above his head while stuck and only when he was knocked down did it stop.

He's also on my xbox.
